Robert and Linda combine virtuosity and humour, and present piano music in scintillating original arrangements, by a wide variety of composers, from Gerschwin to Strauss.

Sudbury’s 2nd X1 are just eight points behind the second placed and play them in their last home game. This will surely be a crunch match!. The statisticians are still looking to see if their result against Lakenheath a few weeks ago is a club record. Having been afternoon.

“cricket week “was a huge success. Keenly fought games were witnessed by a hundred or more spectators each day enjoying a three course lunch in the splendid marquee

After a shocking start with the weather the club has had a good summer, as the season draws to a close, with just four games to play would like to thank all supporters and spectators for their contribution to the continued success of the Friars Street club.

At the concert, Sinfonia Viva also performed a number of well-known their experience over refreshments.

“It has been an honour to work alongside Orchestras Live and Sinfonia Viva once more to bring another exciting musical project to our district.

“These events are all about bringing people together through a shared opportunity for another year.”

“Sudbury Sounds has been a fantastic collaboration between a dynamic artistic team from Sinfonia Viva and four groups of adults from this part of the district.

“The music workshops and celebration concert at Sudbury Arts Centre have been full of energy, creativity and fun. It’s a great example of how engaging in appropriate styles of arts and culture can contribute to the wellbeing of a community, in this case with vulnerable people and those who care for them.

“Orchestras Live is so pleased to have produced this ambitious project through our partnership with Babergh District Council, and we look forward to developing further orchestral projects which support the Council’s strategic priorities.”

This project has been the latest in a series of collaborations, building on the success of a similar event last year.
