Recti-Linear Volumes

Classwork One

Reflection

The task was to create 3-D models using recti-linear volumes. I was taught how to place my models in different axis to make them more 3-D

Feedback Grade 7.5 / 10

My compositions were good and the neatness was average, but there was minimal variety in placing the shapes in different axises and the sizes of the recti-linear curves

Curvi-Recti Volumes

Classwork Three

Reflection

The task was to create 3-D models using both Curvi-linear and Recti-Linear volumes. It was fun mixing different shapes and placing them around in linear, grid, central, and clustered positions.

Feedback

Some shapes were rejected. No variations and not all new vocabulary where implemented (cauterization, centralization)

Grade 6.5 / 10

Linear

14

Clustered Grid

Radial

Centralized

15

Fragments Classwork Four

Reflection

The task was to create five primary 3D shapes and then fragment them and re-stick pieces together. It was very fun and I applied different techniques of fragmentation Feedback

Good clean cuts of fragments, but little variations and coverage of different axises.

Grade 8 / 10

16
17
Reflection The task was to create four planar compositions expressing wood, concrete, metal, and glass using paper Feedback Grade 8 / 10 Good shapes, very neat, not a good expression of terms

Bottom Right: Wood

Left : Metal
19

Wire Sound Classwork Six

Reflection

The task was to depict the 20 playing sounds into 20 different compositions using wire and place it in a neat manner. It was a fun but tiring activity Feedback

Different shapes and bendings of wire to create different compositions

Grade 8.5 / 10

Break The Rules Extra Classwork I

Reflection

The task was to shape a 15x2o cm block of clay and do the opposite of the rules given. It was such a freeing experience and the most fun too.

Feedback

Perfect example of breaking rules. Good usage of materials

Grade 10 / 10

22

Random Sculpture Extra Classwork II

Reflection

The task was to write available materials each on a paper and choose from them three and to create a composition using the given three objects. I got cups, tubes, and foam board. It was a creative classwork Feedback

Creative with assymmterical view from each side

Grade 9.5/10

Waste Management

Reflection

The task was to create an abstract cube sculpture during waste recycled material. I learned how to utilize recycled paper and wood and make it into something beautiful.

The selection of materials are very good. The spiral piece in the middle of the box is creative, but the composition overall has a bad neatness and messy

French Fries

Reflection

The task was to reinterpret friench fries into a huge sculpture. it was fun and helped us learn photoshop tricks

Good material, poor photoshop, not realistic

Spinning Top

The task was to design a large functioning spinning top. This assignment required many trials with different materials

Good shape, does not spin that well

Fragment Shorts

Reflection

The task is to produce a 30-second video using fragmented moving pieces. This was by far the most fun and interesting assignment and we used different fragmenting techniques.

Good usage of fragmentation techniques, good 3D angle

Planar Flower

Reflection

The task is to create a gigantic crazy-size flower using planar materials.

Feedback

The photo is poorly shot and is not comprehendable. Not very neat, does not resemble a flower. Not as gigantic

Reflection The Concepts Hospital, School, Airport, and Hotel and create an abstract composition of the four concepts. We were able to use any materials we want.
all compositions are expressive of the terms given, not abstract, average neatness

CopyCat Reflection The concept : to design a pair of abstract models that are a replica to one another using only a primary red color. We decided to create abstract flowing fabric composition Feedback Flowy and look-a-like, aesthetic-looking. Needed to be bigger, needed a stronger air flow Grade 8.8 / 10
