TRAINING FUTURE STARS

The Guyana Football Federation and the Guyana Beverages Incorporated partnership has paved the way for the hosting of the Kool Kidz Summer Futsal Festival for children between ages 6-10 duringtheAugustschoolbreak.

The six-week training programme was launched in 2018 to teach young players early football skills. More than 200 children attended the 2022 camp which was supervised by Guyana’s national coaches, including the Golden Jaguar Head Coach Jamaal Shabazz and Assistant Coach WayneDover.

“This programme is a step in the right direction because it helps us see the next generation of players from the grassroots level.” Last year’s camp concluded with eight exciting matches Young enthusiastic players will return to the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homesetratch in GeorgetownthisJuly.
