RTS WAYNE, LYONS Transportation Specialist (Part-Time) - POSITION OVERVIEW: The Transportation Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support at his/her regional subsidiary, which includes answering telephones, scheduling customers for service, dispatching Bus Operators and communicating with customers on expected arrival times or other real-time requests, inputting operational data, maintaining operational and government-regulated records, preparing monthly reports of financial and performance data, and processing invoices and payments. Will report to the Regional Manager, Manager of Operations
Minimum Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED. • At least 2 years of experience working in an office. • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday 11am-5pm • Hourly rate: $13.00
Bus Operator (Part-Time) - POSITION OVERVIEW: Drives bus or other revenue service vehicle to transport passengers over specified routes to local points according to a time schedule. Pick up passengers in response to radio or telephone relayed requests for service or on a pre-arranged schedule. Will assist passengers with boarding and debarking the vehicle. Records activities on trip log, and reports malfunctions. Inspects vehicle before departure. Minimum Requirements: Applicant must possess a high school diploma or GED: a valid NYS CDL C Permit w/passenger endorsement, no airbrake restriction, and a clean driving record (no points, no suspensions, no convictions); applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test; criminal background check conducted. This position complies with NYS 19A requirements. Hourly Rate: $14.57
