Walk and Talks are now open to women in South Gloucestershire
We are pleased to announce that we are now able to offer Walk and Talks to women aged 18 or over who live or work in South Gloucestershire.
These are an opportunity to meet with a female police officer or PCSO in your local area and show them areas in which you feel vulnerable or unsafe.
We can then work to make improvements, whether that’s working with the council to make changes or putting on increased police patrols in certain areas.
If you are interested, you can sign up and find out more here https://www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/apply/walk-and-talk/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/liveablebrislington/?sorting_sett ing=CHRONOLOGICAL

What happened when 10 teens gave up their smartphones?
Every Sunday we have three short passages from the bible to reflect on. There's usually one from the Old Testament - the Jewish bible as well as Christian; one from the life of the early Church after Jesus; and one from the gospel stories of Jesus' life.
In today’s story, Jesus speaks to us about how our small actions can lead to great outcomes. We plant a seed – sometimes deliberately in a conversation or an action –and God, the Holy Spirit does the rest. The only questions are whether we trust enough to plants seeds and to look around from what grows from them
