Early efforts, diversity and quality Folkets Parti believes that all children have the right to a safe childhood. This requires a genuine partnership between schools and families and between teachers and pupils. We believe that early efforts, prevention and the right conditions for children provide a sound foundation for further education and lifelong learning. Folkets Parti is primarily concerned with quality and diversity in kindergartens and schools and believes that they can be just as effectively be run by private and non-profit organisations as by the municipality.
Promoting children’s knowledge and skills Kindergarten and primary school should teach children relevant skills and the ability to continuously acquire new knowledge and develop as individuals. Kindergarten and school plays an important role in familiarising children with the core values of Norwegian society. All schoolwork is based on such values as tolerance, equality and democracy. Folkets Parti seeks to ensure sufficient expertise and resources in kindergartens and schools.

Folkets Parti seeks to strengthen anti-bullying protection, social workers, school health services and SLT (coordinated local substance abuse and crime prevention measures for children and young people).
