A Powerful Partnership For Clean Water, Education And Employment DIGITAL MONITORING PRODUCTS (DMP) THE BRITTON FAMILY and WORLDSERVE INTERNATIONAL
An estimated 790 million people are living without access to clean drinking water. About 1.8 billion people are living without improved sanitation practices. Women and children spend an estimated 200 million hours daily collecting contaminated and unsafe water, leading to nearly 2,000 child deaths per day due to water-borne illnesses.
The World Water Crisis
Dear Friends,
For over 25 years, WorldServe International has been tackling the water crisis in Africa through large-scale, solar-powered water projects. At WorldServe International, we truly believe that clean water and sanitation for Africa is a crisis that can be solved in our lifetime! Understanding that it takes just $25 to give clean, safe drinking water to one person for LIFE through a WorldServe solarpowered water project fills me with hope. For the 319 million people in Sub-Saharan Africa living without access to clean water and even more people living without sanitation, we hope you will join us in “giving Africa our best!” Every year, over 100,000 lives are transformed through our large-scale, sustainable, solar-powered water projects. It’s remarkable what happens when dedicated business people, professional athletes, government, ministry leaders and students come together to make this happen. In the following pages, you will find the details of WorldServe International initiatives in Kenya and Ethiopia. I hope they spark inspiration in your heart as, together, we bring water and sanitation to ALL in Africa! Thank you for joining us as we give Africa our best!
Sincerely,
President WorldServe International 2

Ethiopia - Watering Souls Project
The Ethiopian Assembly of God has granted WorldServe International the rights to 3.487 Acres of land, located in the town of Bishoftu in the Oromia Region. It has long been a prayer of the local church to not only have a thriving Church, but to be a place of refuge and commerce for the people. Kenya - Tharaka Nithi County Project
54% of residents use unimproved sources of water such as ponds, dams, streams/rivers, unprotected springs and unprotected wells.
Water pollution and water scarcity lead to poor crops and food scarcity
Urgent action needs to be taken so that the most vulnerable people in these Sub-Counties can access basic goods and services for survival like food, safe drinking water, sanitation, health, shelter and education.
A total of 40% of the residents use unimproved sanitation.
Proposed Intervention:
Two of the highest yielding water projects constructed will serve as the home-base for two new Agriculture and Water Training Centers in Tharaka North and Tharaka South Sub-Counties. The objectives of the centers will be designed to promote and provide knowledge around sustainable access to clean safe water, year-round agricultural production through irrigation (critical to food security and enhanced livelihoods), and environmental conservation through tree planting. The centers will also be used as community education and training centers for the different challenges affecting the community.
Deploying two 4,000 gallon Rapid Water Supply Water Bowsers in Tharaka North and Tharaka South respectively will allow us to mobilize resources in the most remote and water stressed areas. In order to ensure that no one is left behind in accessing clean and safe water, Worldserve International Kenya seeks to leverage one of the most innovative technologies designed in recent times to address clean water scarcity in areas with very poor quality of both ground and surface water. The technology going by the name GALMOBILE is a Mobile Water Purification & Desalination System that combines all elements required to provide clean, safe drinking water anywhere and under any conditions. Worldserve International envisions that the technology will effectively help to provide clean water in areas where we are unable to do so through drilling of boreholes.

we are
WorldServe International—working in East Africa for over two decades— attacks the world water crisis through established long-term collaboration with powerful partners to bring clean water where it can be sustainably accessed and maintained over time. Set apart by the sustainability of our sites, each clean water project is carefully planned and drilled by our fleet of drilling rigs and support vehicles. WorldServe is able to go where many water organizations will not go due to harsh traveling conditions. WorldServe’s model is focused on the “long haul”. Before, during and after the drilling process we work with government and church leaders, both nationally and regionally, to successfully transform villages.
9
To date we have drilled more than 2000 water projects servicing over 4,000,000 people in East Africa alone with clean water...and we’re just getting started!

THIS GIRL is a sponsorship and outreach program enhancing the dignity and health of young women through the provision of critically needed menstrual hygiene products and health education. With support from generous monthly donors, thousands of girls are able to receive 100% compostable sanitary pads, created in facilities led by local women who earn a fair wage. When girls can manage their cycles with confidence, they are able to pursue education and future opportunities.
Kourts 4 Kids (K4K) connects amateur athletes’ passion for their game to the critical need children in Africa have for clean water and safe places to play. From proceeds generated by a variety of sports tournaments, K4K will build sport courts and other kid-friendly play areas strategically located near WorldServe’s solar-powered, clean water projects.

We invite you to join us
There is an African Proverb: “If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together”! It is our hope that DMP and the Britton Family will join with our existing charitable supporters to accelerate our progress, using clean water as the vehicle not only to meet physical needs but to bring the life-giving water of the Gospel to Africa and beyond! We gladly look forward to the opportunity to share additional information about our plans and work, including geographical locations of project sites, statistics centric to the intended water recipients, and a detailed budget for each Building site, water project and vehicle. We present this preliminary proposal to suggest a commitment by DMP and the Britton Family to prayerfully consider providing funding in the amount of $5,200,000.00 . 12
