BGMC Offering/Critical Needs

Critical Needs Fund (CNF) helps missionaries who are faced with urgent needs that require immediate help. It also helps provide for missionaries in sensitive areas who cannot as easily voice their needs due to security concerns. Offerings sent to BGMC that are not designated to a project go into the CNF.

Bible Engagement Project

Bible Engagement Project is on a mission to make disciples by providing every church, regardless of size, location, or budget with resources that transform lives and help people engage the Bible. Funds are needed for the further development of evangelism and discipleship programming for children, including materials to help kids develop a saving and growing relationship with Jesus through the Word of God. Funds are also needed for the expansion of BEP into other languages to reach the children of the world.

The Life Center

The Life Center serves 100 impoverished kids (ages 6-18) by providing school scholarships, school supplies, required school uniforms and shoes, and hot lunches. Kids also get to attend English and Skills classes each week. As part of their curriculum, groups of 10-15 students read and discuss culturally relevant, Lao stories in comic book form…which leads to the message and story of Jesus. And BGMC funds make ministry to this unreached people group possible!

OCJ Cuddle Kits

The OCJ Kid’s Cuddle Bag is a vital resource to our Department of Child Safety during the emergency removal process of a child from an abusive home. Cuddle Bags are filled with a blanket, a stuffed animal, overnight hygiene set, snacks, a water bottle, a coloring book, crayons, and 1-2 age-appropriate toys. These essentials and comfort items help bring peace, reassurance, and warmth to a child who feels abandoned, afraid, and alone.

Every child that in foster care needs to have access to basic necessities. Many children that enter into the system leave everything that they have behind, and foster families are scrambling to prepare their homes for the placement. Through BGMC, we can provide diapers, wipes, and beds that will help ease the stress of foster parents and the children that enter into their new home.

The primary cause leading to the removal of children from their families and their placement into foster care is neglect brought on by poverty. A significant proportion of these vulnerable children could avoid such separation if their families had access to basic necessities such as proper sleeping arrangements, secure cribs, and essential diapers for hygiene upkeep. By harnessing the support of local churches through BGMC, we have the potential to steadfastly pursue our mission aimed at upholding family unity and safeguarding the well-being of children.

Education BOLIVIA

Nestled in the heart of a valley near the majestic mountains of Cochabamba, Bolivia, stands a place called HOPE. In a city where three children under the age of six are abandoned daily, prisons are also full of children who are forced to live with their inmate parent. Oftentimes these children have to sleep on the hard, cold concrete floors because there is no bed for them. Meals are not provided in the prison unless you have money to pay for them, so these children often go hungry. Most do not even have warm clothes or blankets for the cold winter nights in the Andean Mountains. That’s where BGMC comes in! BGMC helps provide for these abandoned or imprisoned children through the work of the Bolivian Hope Center.

The Cambodia Train Up Children’s Home is dedicated to providing a safe place for helping children rescued from abuse and trafficking, offering them an opportunity for education, hope, and the love Jesus. The home needs a security wall and new furniture, including beds and dressers. BGMC funds are also needed to help with the education, meal, and clothing costs for these rescued children.

Camp Scholarships

In Ecuador, people with disabilities are often marginalized. Often these individuals are presented with limited opportunities to have a camp experience. But together through BGMC, we can make this happen! This one event will not only impact the lives of each camper tremendously but also countless others.

Ireland Kids Camp

Missionaries in Ireland are hosting their first ever Kids Camp! Summer camps create incredible opportunities for children to form lifelong friendships, engage in fun, enriching activities, and provide them with the opportunity to encounter God in a life-changing way. BGMC funds are needed for media, audio, signage, and activity supplies for children.

Project Rescue Children’s Scholarships

BGMC is helping provide K-10 school scholarships for girls to help break the cycle of prostitution in India’s Madhya Pradesh region. Funds are also needed to build an additional school due to the success of this children’s education outreach.

East Africa Children’s Tabernacles

We are helping AGWM Africa to build 66 children’s tabernacles in Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Burundi! Each tabernacle will create a space for kids to hear about and know God’s love and His great big plan for them.

Africa’s Children Church Structures

BGMC is also helping African churches create dedicated spaces for reaching and teaching children through AGWM Africa’s Children. When we provide the funds for the building structure and roof, the local church is able to finish the rest of the building according to their needs. Our goal is to build 100 structures in multiple countries across Africa over the next two years.
