Plan a Year of Adventure

Bring a special adult or your troop and your love of animals to meet some animal friends up-close and learn about mammals, reptiles, birds, and more from professional animal handlers. Girl Scout Camp is where girls thrive in the great outdoors. At our Jockey Hollow and Lake Rickabear Day Camps, girls feel comfortable acquiring new skills in a safe and supportive all-girl environment. Celebrate Girls Summer Program

Outdoor adventure awaits—become an avid hiker as a member of the Trailblazers Hiking Group. Experienced leaders will guide you through a year of scheduled events as you discover hiking, camping, fire building, rock climbing, archery, geocaching, sailing, and more. Participate as your schedule allows. Girls can register on their own, with a parent, or with their troop. Maple

Enjoy a late winter day at Lake Rickabear Camp and discover how maple syrup is made. You’ll be able to experience the maple sugaring process with all your senses. Bring your troop or family. With a little practice and good hand-eye coordination, you’ll be hitting bullseyes in no time. During this two-hour session, you’ll learn all about archery—the equipment, safety, and shooting on an archery range. Choose between our two camps for your preferred location: at Jockey Hollow Camp in Mendham or Lake Rickabear Camp in Kinnelon. Archery sessions are available from mid-April through mid-November. Adults can register to participate, too.
