Bergmann Names Mike Croce New Northeast Highway Practice Leader

Effective August 24, 2020, Mike Croce has been promoted to Highway Practice Leader for the Northeast Infrastructure Group at national architecture, engineering and planning firm Bergmann. Croce, a 22year veteran of the firm, will succeed Mark McAnany in the role. McAnany will transition into a Principal role, focusing on client and government relations, integration across the practices comprising Bergmann’s Northeast Infrastructure group, and other strategic responsibilities.

Meet Matt Rhode's - New Business Development Engineer and Josh Hunt - New Millwright Apprentice Optimation Technology announces that Matt Rhode has joined the firm as a New Business Development Engineer.

Matt Rhode

Matt earned his mechanical engineering degree at the University at Buffalo.

After college he took a position as a rotational engineering trainee with a pressure and flow control equipment manufacturer in oil and gas. Upon finishing the trainee program he became a sales engineer within the offshore drilling division for 5 years. He then took a job in the compressor air industry. 20 | The ROCHESTER ENGINEER OCTOBER 2020

Unfortunately, the pandemic caused Matt to look for a new job where he has recently joined OTI. Optimation also announced new Millwright Apprentice Josh Hunt was hired as a GSM earlier this summer and has been working on projects with Josh Hunt the millwrights. He comes to us with a background in property management, landscaping, pizza, and moving. He was an all-American soccer player in high school. He began classes at MCC this fall. q
