The Club

Greensboro Country Club’s second location, Carlson Dairy Farms, a former dairy farm turned children’s camp in 1957, is a stone’s throw away from the club in Irving Park. The two merged into one in 1969, and today it is aptly named “The Farm.”

A $20-million renovation completed in 2022-23 stands as a remarkable testament to GCC’s commitment to providing an unparalleled experience for the members. This comprehensive transformation encompassed various aspects of the club, from the interior clubhouse to the outdoor aquatics facilities to the expansion of a brand new wing, bringing forth a new era of luxury, functionality and family-friendly amenities.

Open during the warmer months, this vibrant outdoor venue offers a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for sipping handcrafted cocktails, enjoying fresh, chef-inspired dishes, and soaking in the beautiful surroundings. Poolside Dining - The ultimate poolside experience with delicious, refreshing fare while members enjoy the aquatics facilities. Families can walk up to the Snack Bar for quick bites, while the Pavilion Bar serves handcrafted cocktails on weekends. For the ultimate relaxation, members can simply place their order on the app from the comfort of their lounge chair, and GCC’s attentive team will deliver their food and beverages right to them—so members never have to leave the water’s edge.

The Position

We’re looking for an energetic and experienced Dining Services Manager to oversee multiple dining venues, including the 1909, Family Grill, Donald Ross Terrace, Men’s Grill, and seasonal operations at the Snack Bar and Pavilion Bar.

In this leadership role, you’ll drive operational excellence, enhance member experiences, and implement training programs that empower our restaurant teams to deliver exceptional service. Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight - Manage daily operations across all venues.

• Ensure high standards of food quality, service and cleanliness.

• Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing restaurant team.

• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.

• Develop comprehensive training programs to enhance service excellence.

• Ensure staff meets and exceeds hospitality standards.

• Maintain exceptional service and guest satisfaction.

• Promptly address concerns and ensure a seamless dining experience.

• Monitor and control budgets, labor costs and inventory to optimize profitability.

• Implement cost-effective strategies to reduce waste.

• Collaborate with chefs to create seasonal, innovative menus that guests love.

• Work with marketing to promote events, special menus, and initiatives.

• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Qualifications – What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management (preferred).

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience (multi-venue a plus!).

• Strong leadership and team-building skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Financial management and inventory control experience.

• Passion for food and beverage trends and a dedication to guest satisfaction.
