To better align with its recently announced multi-year agenda aimed at propelling the Greater Baltimore Region toward a thriving future of inclusive growth and economic opportunity, the GBC has revamped the annual awards program to highlight companies and organizations that fall within five new awards categories. “This recognition has always sought to inspire leaders across the City of Baltimore to continue innovating ways to support their communities and help our city achieve its full potential,” said Mayor Brandon M. Scott. “Collectively, we can address Baltimore’s most pressing challenges, create opportunities for growth, and continue to strengthen our connections to one another. Economic opportunity: a business or organization that has taken innovative approaches to hiring local or supporting small business opportunities. Ambassador for Baltimore Region: recognizing a business or organization at celebrates our city and region. Local investment: a business or organization that is investing heavily in the city and region creating jobs, capital investment to grow our economy.
