A Season Of Change

“Life is a series of seasons and spring is a season of new beginnings and fresh starts.” - Anonymous

I love this quote, especially as Palisades heads into the wonderful and ever-changing seasons of spring and summer. So many new beginnings to share as we welcome new faces to our Management team, continue revitalizing the Resort with construction improvements and get ready for perhaps the most spectacular show of color The Flower Fields at Carlsbad have ever produced!

We’ll fire up the BBQ’s, pump up the basketballs and get ready for another fun-filled spring and summer, as we welcome new and returning Owners and their families. Our Associates are gearing up and stocking up knowing sunshine and high-energy days are just ahead!

We wished Assistant General Manager, Patrick Fernane, a fond farewell and best of luck on his recent retirement, as he moves into a new adventure. Patrick enjoyed 25+ years as a dedicated GPR Associate and for that, we thank him! With big shoes to fill, welcome Len Regan as Palisades new AGM. Len comes to us with an impressive background in Hospitality and possesses an abundance of heartfelt service and

Resort repairs continue to improve the infrastructure of the buildings. Resort improvement projects currently in progress are Balcony Inspections/Repairs and Elevator Repairs and Maintenance.

We understand that improvements do cause construction interruptions and noise, however, maintaining the condition of Palisades is our number one objective. We appreciate and thank our Owners and Guests for their understanding while these necessary improvements are completed.

experience to guide the team. Although our Guest Services Manager John Speciale is new to Palisades, many of you may recognize John from the Southern California Beach Club where he welcomed Owners for the past two years. We are very fortunate to have John’s dedication to service and knowledge join the Palisades team.

A huge round of applause to our BE EPIC Champion of 2023, Divina Willey, Housekeeping Supervisor! Her 12-year journey with Grand Pacific Palisades has been marked by continuous growth and adaptability. Her dedicated service to Palisades' Owners, Guests, and Colleagues is exemplary, as she consistently upholds high standards in her professional role. Bravo Divina!

High energy and fun are on Ryan Gaut’s “To Do” list as he and his team plan for another spring and summer filled with good times! Ryan, Jannet C. and Kayleen S. continue to welcome Owners and their families to the Activity Center, striving to pack your days with indoor and outdoor activities.

One of the most popular spring attractions is The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch that is literally in our backyard! The 2024 season opens March 15th. Click on the link below to purchase advance tickets and see all the fun activities you and your family can enjoy, surrounded by the beautiful and colorful ranunculus!

Sincerely,

Maureen “Mo” Carew, General Manager

Exit Smart, Exit Safe

We love having you as an Owner at Grand Pacific Resorts and know that your Ownership has provided you with a beautiful home-away-from-home and cherished memories to last a lifetime.

Our hope is that you will continue to enjoy the value of your Ownership investment. In an interview with the President of the American Resort Developers Association (ARDA), Jason Gamel said, “The timeshare industry tends to bounce back extremely quickly following challenges like natural disasters or economic hardships.” As your management company we are here to ensure that your HOA is financially healthy and you are realizing the benefits of being an Owner.

Many Owners find comfort in beautiful surroundings with units featuring amenities conducive to spending quality time with loved ones like large living rooms, full kitchens, and featured resort experiences. They also appreciate the opportunity to be involved in the timeshare decision-making process along with directly benefitting the local community. Also, since 2016, most Owners are comprised of Millennials rather than Boomers, contrary to popular belief. This is due to younger generations growing up with timeshares and understanding their value firsthand.

However, if you feel like you are at a point in which you are ready to move on from Ownership we are here to discuss your various options, from handing it down to safely selling, as well as answer any questions you may have throughout the process.

Your Leadership Team is dedicated to maintaining expenses while making sure Grand Pacific Palisades is well cared for. We thank you for your continued dedication to Palisades and Grand Pacific Resorts and look forward to welcoming our Owners over the spring and summer seasons.
