To keep information safe and aligned with GPR standards, follow these quick rules:
Use Paid or Enterprise Versions Only
Free AI tools may log or share your inputs. Use only tools that clearly offer data privacy protections.
No Sensitive Info
Never enter guest data, employee details, passwords, contracts, or financials into AI platforms — even privately.
Check the Settings
Each tool is different. Look for terms like: “Confidential Mode,” “Private,” or “Do Not Share Inputs” — and make sure they’re enabled.
Ask before sharing team content
If you’re using team reports or SOPs to build something with AI, check with your leader first.
RULE OF THUMB: If it’s something we wouldn’t share in a company-wide email, don’t enter it into AI.
