After-School Program
Members have access to game room as well as the basketball gym. Youth (6 – 15) $7/year Adult (16+) $12/year Senior (62+) $10/year
Ages: 5-12. Pick up from Morton Elementary only. We provide snack, homework help, organized games, crafts, computers, and more. Fees: $7/membership fee $10/registration fee $25/week per child Day Dates Time
Fitness Room Enjoy the spacious & newly renovated fitness room at the Charley Taylor Recreation Center. Fitness Room Membership includes access to areas mentioned above under membership. Our fitness room features: cycle bike, row machine, stationary recumbent bike, step master, treadmills, dumbbells, smith machine, a small CrossFit corner and more. Membership: $11.50/month or $108/year
Room Rentals Multipurpose Room Looking for a rental space for a special celebration? Charley Taylor has one multipurpose room that can seat up to 80-100 people. Meeting room rentals are $25 per hour during our business hours and $50 per hour during our closed/after hours. Charley Taylor also offers a kitchen add on for an additional $30 fee. Outside the center there is a playground that rentals may use, but please note it is also open to the general public. Outside food and drinks are allowed. Alcohol is not permitted.
Gym Rent out the gym for $60 for full court per hour and $30 for half court per hour.

Classes Ballet Folklorico (Amor A Nuestra Cultura) Ages: 3 and up. This class is preserving Latino culture and history through dance and education using Hispanic traditions from North, Central, South America, and the Caribbean. Amor a Nuestra Cultura has experience with various internationally recognized Ballet Folklorico instructors. For Minis (3-6 yr. olds), Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced & Adult classes. Mary It – Taking a Vow to Fitness Ages: 3 and up. Are you ready to Mary it? Are you ready to take a vow to fitness? You are invited to join this fitness class for a spiritual workout which includes prayer, meditation, stretching, and static and dynamic exercises. Don’t forget to bring a yoga mat. Ages: 3 and up. Come experience traditional Tae Kwon Do from the longest running Martial Arts Academy in Grand Prairie. You will learn Karate from white belt through black belt. Emphasis is placed on self-discipline and self-esteem. Charley Taylor classes are taught by 9th degree black belt, Bill Simpson. Fee: $45 per month plus $7 membership fee required. Ages: 16+. Volleyball is back by high demand. Come out for Monday night or Saturday afternoon open play. Bring a friend and get your game on. Must have membership or $4-day pass. Days Time M Sat
