Aqua-Fit

Aqua-Fit is a low-impact, total body workout in the water. It is designed to help strengthen your muscles and build cardio endurance while taking the pressure off your bones, joints, and muscles.

Barre

Barre is a series of movements that strengthen the entire body and ensures that no muscle is overlooked. With a combination of functional strength, dance, Pilates and Yoga, we use bodyweight as a resistance to focus on alignment and optimal posture while enhancing body awareness, coordination, balance and overall strength.

Cycle

Cycle is performed on the Spinner Chrono Power bikes and powered by SPIVI. Classes are set to motivational music and blend endurance, intervals, hill training and sprints for a fun but challenging experience.

Epic Barbell

Epic Barbell is the ideal workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit. We use light to moderate weights and lots or reps to give you a total body workout.

Yoga

Yoga has been around for more than 5,000 years and it does more than just burn calories and tone muscles. It is a total mind-body workout that combines strengthening and stretching poses with deep breathing and meditation or relaxation.

Fitness Swim

Fitness Swim is open to ages 12+ to lap swim, water walk, exercise, and use the spa. Children under the age of 12 may not swim unless approved by the Aquatics Specialist. Lap lane usage is limited to 1 hour.

Family Swim

For children and families to swim and play. Water features will be turned on. All children 6 and under must have an adult in the water within arm’s reach. Children under the age of 12 must have and adult on the deck.

Safe Splash Swim Lessons

Youth Programs

Technique and Tumbling

The Technique and Tumble program focuses on training students who are interested in learning acrobatic tumbling skills that could be used in dance, cheer or gymnastics. Instructed by coach Kristen, a USAG certified professional coach, who has extensive experience coaching tumbling, gymnastics and competitive cheer.

Beginner

Age 5+ Fee: $60/month Days Time W 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Intermediate

Age 5+/test-in Fee: $60/month Days Time Sat 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Advanced

Must test-in Fee: $60/month Days Time W 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Karate – Taekwondo

Age 5+. Traditional Taekwondo and Karate teaching with an emphasis on self-discipline and self-esteem. Students will build self-confidence, and can advance from white belt to black belt while learning self-discipline, antikidnapping techniques, and Kata (form) Fee: $50/month; $45 each additional family member Days Time M/W 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

NEW PROGRAM: Dancing Little Stars

Dancing Little Stars has been serving the DFW area since 1997. Our dance instruction focuses on poise, concentration, memory and balance using a custom curriculum, various props, special effects and rewards for great dancing! Your little dancer will learn ballet, tap and hip hop techniques. There will be a year end dance recital with a quality costume and a trophy.

Shining Stars Ballet & Tap Pre K Combo

Age 3-6 years. This 1 hour class is 30 minutes of Ballet followed by 30 minutes of Tap with some Hip Hop sprinkled in for fun. If a class consists of four or less students, class is held for 45 minutes. We use fun props and teaching aides during class. We give out rewards such as hand stickers/ stamps and “sweet treats” for good listeners/dancers. (Ex: 2 Skittles). Ballet and Tap shoes are required. Fee: $52/month (12 student max) Days Time T 6:30 – 7:15 p.m. Sat 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. (Saturday waitlist only – we are gauging interest for this class)

Show Stars Hip Hop

Age 5-12 years. This is a 45 minute hip hop class focusing on street dance moves to high energy, age appropriate music. Hip hop dance helps develop your child’s rhythm, muscle coordination and overall cardiovascular health while having a blast! Fun props and treats are used as rewards for great dancing! Regular street clothing and street tennis shoes are acceptable. Fee: $52/month (18 student max) Days Time T 7:15 – 8:00 p.m.

My First Ballet Class

Age 2-3 years. This is a 30-minute creative movement ballet class. A custom curriculum using various props, special effects, and fun rewards for great dancing! Your tiny dancer will learn musicality, spatial awareness, coordination, concentration, gracefulness, and body control all while building their self-confidence! Fee: $52/month Days Time Sat 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. (waitlist only – we are gauging interest for this class)

CHILD WATCH

Tiny Tots: 3-24 mos Kids Play: 2-10 yrs The Epic’s Child Watch program is designed to engage young children in games and activities, while parents participate in fitness and adult programming. For up to two hours your child or baby will engage and have fun with our trained Child Watch team. Parents can be rest assured that their child will be safe and entertained while they have the freedom to enjoy all the amenities at the Epic. First come, first served. 2 Hour time limit. Parent/guardian must always remain in The Epic. M-Th 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. F & Sat 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Sunday Closed

PARENTS NIGHT OUT BABYSITTING

Age 2-10 years. Parents need a break too! Parents Night Out Babysitting is a 4 hour babysitting service for children 2-10 years old. The time will be filled with lots of fun games and activities so the parents can embark on a fun night out. Limited spots available.

Youth Areas

ZONE 1317

Age 13-17 years. Our epic teen scene is filled with state of the are lounging areas, video games and other entertaining activities available to teenagers 13-17 years old who have an active membership. M-F 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Sat 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

EPIC GAMES

Age 14 and under. The Epic Games room is filled with interactive games to encourage children to have fun and cultivate new friendships. There will never be a dull moment with access to various gaming systems, board and card games. Access to the Epic Games will be available with a general membership for children 14 and under. Children 6 and under must have an adult supervising them at all times. M-F 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Sat 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Youth Camps

HOLIDAY DAY CAMPS

Age 5-12 years. School’s out…We got your back! Sign your kids up for day camp at The Epic where they will engage in fun activities, swimming, arts and crafts, and more. Snacks are included twice a day. Lunch is not provided.

The Epic Theater

Culinary Kitchen

The Epic Culinary Kitchen will host classes and events. The Culinary Kitchen is also available for rentals. .

Music & Radio

The recording studio is comprised of both an engineering room and a live sound room, complete with sound proofing. You’ll also have access to ProTools and Logic for recording/ post-production.
