Letter from the Editor The sun is shining, the people are smiling and holiday season is upon us. It is hard to think of a better place to be than here in Granada for the summer of 2011. Granada Insider is here to help you make it even better. Once again we have packed in loads of articles and info to give you the Insider view of what makes Granada so great. We provide you with some summer necessities, like planning a day trip to the beach, we have a couple of recipes to keep you fresh with our delicious sangria and gazpacho. We have a special photography feature on one of the highlights of the summer; the Corpus Christi festival and many more usual favourites. As you flick through the magazine I am quite sure there will be something to be found that tickles your particular interest. You might also see on Page 10 there are details about the forthcoming Sierra Nevada Triathlon. Even if you are not an athlete it is guaranteed to be a great and emotional event. So get out and lend your support and join us for some Paella afterwards, and if you are out supporting you might even catch a glimpse of “yours truly” sweating his way around the “the toughest triathlon in the world” Have a great summer,

a ha salido el sol, la gente sonríe y las vacaciones ya están aquí. Es difícil pensar en un lugar mejor que Granada para pasar tus vacaciones en este verano 2011. Granada Insider continuará a tu lado este verano para que puedas disfrutar de tus vacaciones incluso un poco más. Estoy seguro de que aunque no seas un gran atleta, disfrutarás de este gran evento. Así que, participa y apoya este evento y disfruta con nosotros un plato de paella después, y si tiene suerte pueda ver esto mismo editor sudando hasta la meta del “triatlón más duro del mundo”.
