By October 4, Manheim Township had accumulated an amazing 388 service hours this year! I cannot wait to see what they have accomplished in November. They have completed numerous projects including hosting a pottery night at their elementary school and helping at the Lititz Chocolate Walk.

Dues Information Since the Key Club service year is officially in full swing, it is important not to neglect Key Club dues!

Early Bird dues are due by December 1, and regular dues are due by January 1.

To find out how much money will be due, your club's adviser can sign into the Membership Update Center, update your Key Club's roster, and then an invoice will be generated.

From there, your adviser can send a payment to Key Club International.

Once your Key Club has paid dues, please let me know!

Thirst Project If you had the chance to attend Fall Rally, you got to hear all about Thirst Project and their mission! Thirst Project is a proud partner with Key Club International. Through their partnership with Key Club, they strive to guide students to address and work towards social change. Thirst Project aims to end the global water crisis by providing accessible and clean water to those in need. To get involved with Thirst Project, check out their site here!

Fun Facts There are over 5,300 high schools that contain Key Clubs around the world.

The first Key Club was formed with eleven members.

There are Key Clubs in 38 countries.

Key Club was founded by Albert Olney and Frank Vincent.

After having a hard year for service last year, it excites me knowing that there are Key Clubs back serving our community. Thank you to all who have been serving and bettering our community. Your time and effort does not go unnoticed.

As the winter time rapidly approaches, make sure to continue your club's service projects. A service idea newsletter will be coming to you shortly, so keep your eyes peeled for some new ideas!
