Service Spotlight

Donegal High School's Key Club particpated in an awesome project in which they created and delivered handmade cards and letters to Veterans and active duty military members on the USS John Warner nuclear submarine.

They collected 378 cards in total! CC Emsweiler, the creator and coordinator of this project at Donegal, even received a "challenge coin" from the USS John Warner for her work.

Lieutenant Governor election Do you want to get more involved in Key Club?

If the answer to that question is yes, I encourage you to consider running for Lieutenant Governor of Division 14. As a Lieutenant Governor, you help connect individual Key Clubs to the entire Pennsylvania District of Key Club. Lieutenant Governors communicate with clubs, create monthly newsletters, work with other LtGs, and more! If you are interested in the position of LtG for the 20222023 term, please reach out to me.

The election date is to be determined.

District Convention District Convention is a wonderful opportunity to expand your skills and have fun, and you get to meet Key Club members from across the state! It will be held on April 1-2 at the Penn Stater Hotel in State College, PA. Don't forget to register by March 11 for the Saturday package. If you are interested in winning an award, check out the page here to see awards and contests are available!

March of dimes March of Dimes fights for the health of all women and babies in an effort to help all families across all backgrounds. They strive to end preventable maternal health risks and death, preventable preterm birth and infant death, and the equity gap.

Pennsylvania's infant mortality rate is 5.8.

There is a 1.32 racial disparity rate in preterm births in Pennslvania.

Pennsylvania's preterm birth rate is 9.6%.

Reminders Secretaries, the February Monthly Report Form is due on March 5. The form can be found here. Monthly Report Forms help connect your Key Club to the district level. If you have any questions, just let me know!
