Join us Saturday, March 15th at the ranch 4 miles North of Letcher, South Dakota to view the cattle and place your initial bids! Complimentary lunch served from noon to close. Happy Hour starts when you arrive!
MATERNALPLUS ™
LZ Livestock has earned the MaternalPlus™ designation from the American Angus Association based on their total herd enrollment program. We are 1 of only 24 herds in South Dakota to meet this requirement. This is a way to showcase the data of our whole program so that it is as accurate and powerful as possible.
BIDDING
This year’s sale will be hosted by The Livestock Link (TLL) [www.thelivestocklink.com]
Bidding will open Saturday March 15th at 12pm and close for extended bidding at 5pm
If you have not used this platform before, please register to bid as soon as possible. TLL requires basic banking information and will verify those requesting to bid. Please do not wait until the day of the sale to request approval to bid.

SALE TERMS
Sale terms and conditions will be in accordance with American Angus Association and The Livestock Link. LZ Livestock is selling full interest and full possession of all sale lots unless otherwise noted in the catalog or on sale day supplement sheet. Sale prices will be determined final through the online bid off process hosted by TLL.
WINTERING + DELIVERY
All sale lots winter for free until 4/1/25. If you are unable to take delivery at that time a daily feeding rate will apply. Bulls will be delivered free of charge within 250 mile radius. All efforts will be made for timely delivery after the sale.
GUARANTEE
All bulls are guaranteed breeders for their first breeding season. Successful bidders assume risk of sale lots once sale is final on March 15th.
Our highest priority is to sell sound, functional animals that meet the breeding needs of your program, but recognize the health and soundness of cattle is a shared responsibility following sale day.
Should a bull or heifer become injured during the first breeding season a suitable replacement will be provided if available. If one is not available, sale credit will be offered towards our 2026 Production Sale less $3,000 of sale price. This guarantee does not apply to death loss. Full salvage value is retained by new owner.
All bulls will be fertility tested prior to delivery. All claims must be made by 9/1/25.
VOLUME DISCOUNT
A volume discount will be applied to total purchase price for bidders purchasing 3 or more lots. (3% on 3 lots, 4% on 4 lots, 5% on 5 lots or more.
REPEAT CUSTOMER DISCOUNT
In appreciation to our customers that continue to support our program, successful bidders that have purchased on sale day from our two previous sales will received 5% off total purchase.

With great anticipation and joy we bring you our 3rd Annual Production sale offering. This year has been very exciting for us as we continue to grow our program and continue to offer foundation building genetics. This year’s sale will include our largest offering to date with both yearling bulls and open yearling heifers.
We couldn’t do this alone, and would like to recognize the people that keep us going day in and day out. Since the inception of LZ Livestock, we have been operating alongside Riley’s parents, Scott and Stacy Zoss, and have made it this far in large part to their support. We can’t thank them enough for keeping us going and helping make this sale happen! To the many other neighbors, friends, and relatives that help us throughout the year, thank you, you play a larger role in what we do than you may know!
In the race for more pasture to expand our program we have found ourselves limited with what we are able to retain for replacement heifers for this summer. With that in mind we made the hard decision to include what we would have kept as replacements in our herd in the heifer listings for this sale. We truly mean it when we say we are offering our best this year. Any of the females on this year’s sale would be welcome to find a place in our herd given different circumstances. We hope you find these heifers to be an asset to your program and a great way to expand your foundation females.
