Hild Bros Bred Ewe Sale

About Us

Thank you for taking the time to view our annual bred ewe sale with the 4 annual BREDS, BRATS & BREWS on-farm live sale event. We are a family-owned operation out of Webster City, IA with humble beginnings. Like many other operations across the US, our flock has roots that started with a 4-H project that grew larger than any of us could ever envision. Our brand states “Hild Bros”, but it’s very much a whole family affair where everyone plays a role in the day-to-day operation. We strive to make wethers that can compete at any and all levels of competition, ewes that can compete in the ring at the highest levels and then return to the flock to be productive and profitable for our clients. We also market fresh and frozen semen on our entire buck battery. This set of breds is a group we are extremely proud of to say the least. From top to bottom, these gals have flat out been profitable and stem from bloodlines that have literally built the HB brand. We invite you to see them in person at the farm on the 25th and stick around for an evening of live bidding and fun for the whole family. If you can’t make it, online bidding will be available through CCI Live. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Alliance

Purchased in a private bid off, this guy quickly became the talk of the country once word got out. We’d been hunting for an outlier outcross buck to complement our female base, and when we saw Alliance at Harrell’s, there was no doubt he was the one.

Simply put, he’s unmatched in the big traits that we’re chasing base width, rib cage, upper hip, and stifle shape that are completely off the charts. All that power is balanced by an elite front 1/3 and striking white feature.

Genetically, he’s lined up tight— Ceasefire back on the elite Patty donor from Harrell’s. And in today’s market, where bucks without a substantial amount of Unicorn or DTM influence are rare, Alliance stands out: his only DTM blood comes from the bottom side of Ceasefire (Collusion), making him a valuable outcross option.

Ghost Rider

RIDE TIME SABAN 6220

I can say with confidence—this is the most fault-free buck we’ve ever had in our battery. In a lot of ways, we see him as an updated version of Ride Time.

He came out of a deep, consistent flush and hit the scene loud— selling for $103,000 (half interest) to Miller & Wessels at The Brand. Since then, he’s only gotten better.

His dam, Amanda, got flushed late to Switchblade Sam, and that one hit too—another deep set that sent three males to Young Guns and sisters to get shown down south. With that kind of backing on both sides, we’re confident this one’s going to breed true and make the kind we’re all chasing.

Ride Time

GABLE "LAYNE"

It’s hard not to keep going back to a buck that’s proven himself time and time again. Ride Time continues to sire wethers & ewes that rise to the top at some of the most competitive shows in the country—even as he enters his fourth breeding season. He’s known for stamping them with creasy shape, great skin, freaky fronts, and an unmistakable outlier look that sets them apart from contemporaries. This year, we lambed out a large group of his daughters, and it’s safe to say he’s earning his place as a true dual-purpose sire. His females are raising some of the best sheep we’ve sold to date. Sometimes, it’s not a bad idea to stick with proven.

Hot Pursuit

All females have been preg checked twice to provide the most accurate information as possible on due dates, fetal counts, and pregnancy status. All have been vaccinated twice with Campylobacter and CDT, as well as up to date on deworming. We strive to offer the most accurate information on bag status or any historical notes we’ve had on them, but some do slip between the cracks despite all our efforts. All ewes are guaranteed pregnant when they leave the farm if stated pregnant in the catalog. If having issues or concerns regarding your purchase, please contact us within 2 weeks of receiving ewe.

Harrell 78 x “Frannie” Donor DOB 2020 FF

Bred to: Alliance

Fetal Count: 2

Due Date: 12/17/2025

For 4 years straight, we’ve tried to dig as deep as we could into the elite ewe families for this sale, but we’ve dug the deepest this year. Sophia, a full sister to Freestyle, but most know her as the mother to Side Chic, the freak ewe Trey Goretska won both the American Royal, and Iowa State Fair with in 2022- simply one of the best females we’ve assembled who is a staple in our donor program. Additionally in 2022, she made Riley Walker’s champion ewe at the North Central IA showdown. In 2023, we flushed her for falls, sold a Gable male privately for $10,000, and her late born Ride Time wether went to Sager. She did not lamb in 2025. In all honesty, in two flush attempts she’s made low numbers, but her offspring are as high end as they come. Scanning with early Decembers to Alliance, the sky is simply the limit with the pair that’s inside. This mating is capable of producing the highest end offspring of anything that has been bred in Webster City this year- that’s all there is to it. Boys or girls, bid with confidence. This is as good as it gets.

This girl here is SOGGGYYY. I’m talking soggy like your armpits after your crush compliments your new haircut. Hazel has been so good to us over the years and comes from a mother that has done nothing but make winners as well. The mother, Frisky, is still around and has dammed winners from Texas majors, to Arizona national and beyond. Hazel’s sister is also still stationed in our donor pen after damming a 13k wether we sold on “The Brand” last march. Hazel’s first year in the donor pen she grossed over 12k bred to Chief, the second year she grossed over 17k bred to Ride Time. Her babies have been fed on by some of the best families spanning from Michigan to Oklahoma. Seeing how well those Ride Times fed and won, I’d be even more excited about these Ghost babies she’s carrying. Felony x “Frisky” Donor (Monkey Business x Daisy) DOB 2020 FF

Harrell 78 x “Frannie” Donor DOB 2021 FD

Bred to: Switchblade Sam Fetal Count: 1

Due Date: 12/3/2025

Full sister to Freestyle, with as deep and consistent production record as it gets. One we are definetly high on. In 2023 she made a $4750 Chief wether, in 24 $5500 Ace Wether, and this year she made a pair of Company Man ewes, one of which we kept and the other sold for $4500. One that has simply worked no matter how you breed her, no doubt one that teetered on the donor pen that I regret never flushing. Having her Company ewe in the keeper pen makes it a little less painful letting her go, but none the less it still hurts! As freaky as she looks, she has traditionally made them much stouter than how she appears. We decided to take her to Sam this year, and boy do we have high hopes for this mating!

We pulled out the stops on this one. Direct CiCi daughter, flush mate sister to Make It Rain and the Res Hamp at the MO State Fair. We’ve lambed her once, it yielded our popular $10,500 blue Ace ewe at this year’s Santas Favorites. She has all the check marks. Young ewe, elite pedigree, has already produced elite stock. She’s got as high as ceiling as any moving into her prime. Not only will the Follow Me’s be ultra intriguing, but what she can do the rest of her life. High end stock here.

Stinger alert!! No doubt the Unicorn daughters have worked well for a variety of different operations throughout the country, but not many have the pedigree that read Freestyle’s sister on the bottom. Year one, she hit the ground running making a $6k Ride Time wether that went to Ohio, and year 2 we took her to Sam that yielded a way exotic bodied Switchblade Sam female- who was brought back to breed in August at one of our AI days and all I can say is I have sellers remorse on that one. These Follow Me’s should be some out there creatures, with a lined-up Unicorn pedigree!

Full sister to Ride Time! Not only is she a genetic gem, but also had a successful show career for Gracyn Clark & TKM in 2022. Production wise- in ‘24 we sold her Ride Time wether to Justin Parke privately, and this year she had a stinger Chief wether we sold to Texas for $3k. She’s got a Ghost Rider on board that should be awfully intriguing. Her freak look and muscle I think will be the perfect match for Ghost’s unique look and build. Some lined up pedigrees in the oven here.

White enthusiast look in, we think an awful lot of this girl and she's got the track record to back it up. This broody, shapely sound creature has some out there characteristics for a white gal. We have a keeper Lawless female in the flock, and she's sold 2 additional females for $1800 a pop. HOWEVER, these twins she's carrying to our new stud Gotham should be some extra exciting specimens. Her shape, combined with his mass power and moderation should yield some out there creatures for the white breed.

This Saban ewe has always been my favorite to look at phenotypically of any of the Saban ewes we have, and that’s saying something with how well they’ve done for us. Her skeleton, for a mature ewe, is about as ideal as you could make one. She is built for longevity and a mold I’d want females at my place to look like for multiple generations. Her ‘24 crop was highlighted by $5500 Ace ewe, last year she dammed a real freaky, wild patterned Ride Time wether that Clay Elliot bought out of December set. The Sam x Saban cross yielded some of our best last year, confirmed with triplets here it’s hard to believe you miss with this girl.

Yeaaaaah, I don’t feel real great about selling this girl. When they look like this for a coming 4-year-old, and have a pedigree like her you have to ask, what’s the catch? There’s no tricks here, only treats. Her first born was a very solid Ride Time ewe born in our fall set in ’24. She was re-racked again for falls and had a Canseco wether that I was very high on. Huge muscles, big back that carried out through his pins and a set of legs that were tree stumps. He was slated for “Santa’s Favorites” until he got injured and didn’t fully recover. To me, I think we have been a little too conservative mating her, I have mentioned it in other write ups that the Sam x Saban cross worked incredible. I’d hope to get a female out of her and push it directly into the donor pen, that’s how well I think this mating will work.

I love this girl’s freaky look and extreme extension through her front 1/3, but she certainly doesn’t lack the power to go with it. For those that follow our program, her mom always has some special creatures. This is only the 2 daughter we’ve cut loose out of this elite donor. ewe that we are simply awfully proud of to offer up for sale. Yes, she’s a coming 6 year old but she’s one that simply just hits home runs for fun, every year, and has aged as gracefully as Monica (Hild). A direct daughter of CiCi, longevity runs in her blood as CiCi is still lambing and raising sheep every year. This female’s build is just lights out, her skeleton is impeccable, her body shape is ideal, and from a muscle standpoint she’s very appropriate for a female that is made to generate high end males. Probably one of the most interesting facts when it comes to her production, she’s made all the high dollar sheep all while only being bred to Gable- so it really makes you wonder how high the ceiling could be when it comes to the pair that she’s carrying to Ghost Rider. My guess- way high. Don’t be afraid to throw down on this one. For those not familiar with Moon Man- he's a flushamte brother to Gable’s Mom.

I’m partial to this Chief ewe because her backside pedigree has been so dynamic for us. The Van Wert family bought her mom last year off this sale and went right into their donor pen. We kept her first ewe lamb born, sold her Ride Time offspring in ’24 for total $4500 and her best wether was an Ace of Spades in our December set that was a freak with look and power. Unfortunately, he died mid-summer but one we had very high hopes for. These confirmed Ghost Rider babies should resemble the quality she’s hit so hard on in related matings.

She lambed in March this year and we sold her Chief wether privately to OK for $2500, I just got a pic of him last week and that one should be a player come OYE. We sold her Ride Time in ‘24 for $1250, but if there’s any that haven’t been mated to their potential on the sale it’s her. These Saban females have been absolutely clutch for us, they’re sound, they’re big caged, and very versatile on the way you can breed them. In 2024 she had a Cowboy Way wether that made his way to Texas for the Williams Family that ended up winning his competitive county. In 2025 she had a Ride Time wether that sold for $2500 that went to Texas to a very good home. I think her offspring to Parlay should be ultra sound, stout, and way good looking from the side. If you don’t get down in a three-point stance when you need to catch this girl, you might need new knees. She is a meat wagon, something I have come to admire about every Balboa derived ewe we have. The more intriguing part of her is that for every inch she is dense, she is equally as feminine in terms of height of shoulder and presence at the stand. We lost the punnet square battle taking her to Ace in ’24 and had double midgets. Her Parlay babies were solid last year combining for just shy of $2k. Last year we sold her Parlay ewe for $1900 who resembled her mom quite well. Her Sam baby this year should be resemble the same quality that she’s had in past years but with a little more body, shape and width.

Donna, a registered Dorset was the dam to Garth’s speckle ewe lamb he campaigned last year “Ears” (always accompanied by a dinosaur polo), as well as a crazy stout Batman ewe lamb this year. A ewe we’ve always thought awfully high of, especially for being a purebred. Her Parlays should be some stout, moderate speckles that are sound structured-females out of this mating would be extra fun to breed on in the years to come. I’ll admit I tried to get her bred to Gotham but she didn’t stick. Get her speckles on the ground this year and I think breeding her back to a dirty white next and you’ll have some high end critters on your hands. *She has a small fat pocket in her rear flank, it is not a hernia.

Another personal favorite with the production records to back it all up. This sounds made, massive beast has done as good of job consistently producing year after year of any. To start her career off she we bred her as a ewe lamb to Unicorn and Ty Allen got him off the farm privately in the late set. In 2023, we took her back to Unicorn making two outstanding daughters, 23182 (her Unicorn Daughter) who dammed the 3 Overall Ewe for the Kauffman family this year at the Iowa State Fair, as well as 23181 (another Unicorn Daughter) who now resides in donor pen, who made a $12,500 Sam wether off the NYE Sale this year. In 2023 Chad Walker purchased her Ride Time wether, we lost her lamb in 2024. In 2025 her Confessions ewe lamb went to the Larson family in IA.

Her offspring is highlighted by a wether that I was very high on from the beginning. She had a Make It Rain wether in our ’24 set that was extremely stout and extremely hampy. Our good friends from Wisconsin, the Kurtzweil family, bought him and had a heck of a run over the summer and won his class in a really competitive Hamp division at the Wisconsin State Fair. For every inch of her that’s good looking, she is equally as dense and crisp bodied. I love her.

There was a brother that had Charlie and I both extremely excited about the Chief mating, unfortunately he got a respiratory infection and died about 4 weeks after birth. We have only sold one other female dammed by her mom 21041, and 23183 would be in my top 5 blue ewes to purchase.
