God’s Light by Judy Hood
My life hasn’t always been a bed of roses But, one of the grandest things I know is God has always been standing right by my side He’s with us even when we are unaware He is there to guide Life can be too hard, too hard to handle But, if we’ll just trust Jesus, our troubles He will dismantle We all carry our crosses, our burdens to bear If we’ll just love one another, our burdens to share It would be a better world, our hearts would be lighter The sun would appear, the sun would shine brighter So, hug your brother, take each other’s hand Enjoy this life you’ve been given, as you walk through this land We only have one life to live, one life to get this right So, let’s take care of one another, as we walk into God’s light 44 // February 2022
