What made you successful in 2024?
I focused on maximising the volume of clients with whom I had regular touch points. I adopted a strategy of not relying on any single client. This approach proved invaluable during setbacks, such as clients pulling offers or other unforeseen challenges. By expanding coverage, I was able to balance losses with unexpected wins.

What made you successful in 2024?
Knowing how to play to my strengths & creating opportunities to incorporate things I am passionate about into my work. When you love what you do, it’s easy to work hard at it!
GM’s progressive outlook creates an excellent environment for us to find our individuality and use this to propel us toward success; whether that’s creativity, being an innovative thinker or a talented storyteller - lean into what you’re good at and find time to incorporate things that bring you joy
What
did you learn from last year that you are going to use to ensure you are successful this year?
Everyday is a school day & there is always something new to learn (yikes, how incredibly L&D of me!) But seriously, even I need reminding that it’s ok not to know all the answers when learning something new, leaning on others for their help, support and expertise are not signs of defeat, but instead opportunities to learn, grow and better equip yourself with the tools and knowledge you need to further succeed. Happy learning everyone!

What
made you successful in 2024?
Organisation - I'm constantly checking and updating my Outlook calendar whether that’s reminders to chase a job, call a client at a time agreed, setting aside BD hours and NOOB catch ups.
Resilience - I will chase a lead, meeting with a client or an A grade candidate until I get a response no matter how long it takes
Graft - Knowing my strengths and working hard to execute them every day for example I’m better at BDing in the morning, so I set aside time every morning to make sure I get it done
What did you learn from last year that you are going to use to ensure you are successful this year?
Nothing is ever a sure thing so always go that extra mile to be in control of a situation e.g. It’s a competitive market so making sure I am in regular contact with my A grade clients, that way I will be the first person they go to when needing support.

What made you successful in 2024?
I believe that my success in 2024 was built on self-belief - something that I had previously lacked. Developing self-belief didn't happen overnight - it required setting clear goals for myself and Programme One, embracing continuous learning and learning to celebrate all the small wins along the way. Focusing on my strengths, maintaining a positive mindset and surrounding myself with the right people helped me build this inner confidence empowering me to go the extra mile in everything I set out to do.

What did you learn from last year that you are going to use to ensure you are successful this year?
I've learnt the value of having a positive mindset so I can trust my own instincts, embrace challenges as opportunities and stay motivated even when the path is unclear. It can be difficult to always have a positive mindset especially within Recruitment, but I've learnt that if I believe in my ability to deliver value, I can truly make an impact.

What made you successful in 2024? Review
My success in 2024 came from embracing change and taking calculated risks. When offered the opprtunity to take on a new challenge, I chose to step away from people management. While initially very daunting, this decision allowed me to focus on my core strengths while driving broader business impact.
I managed to maintained strong indiviudal performance, while simultaneously implementing company-wide improvements . This balance of individual contribution and strategic innovation proved that evolving your role doesn't mean abandoning what you do well.
What did you learn from last year that you are going to use to ensure you are successful this year?
The biggest lesson I learned in 2024 that I'llbe taking into 2025 is that good things happen outside of your comfort zone. Oh and to stay on top of your A&B contacts…

What made you successful in 2024?
My team and their work ethic, being disciplined with making time for my team but also blocking out time for myself, simplifying my objectives, breaking them down and consistently checking progress.
What did you learn from last year that you are going to use to ensure you are successful this year?
You have to take confidence in the small progress on the way to the larger objective, things don't always go to plan but if you keep consistent they circle back round. Be flexible minded and always focus on the positive/ positives out of what might seem as an initially negative outcome. Always be transparent. All feedback is good feedback.

What made you successful in 2024?
Understanding the Client's Brief Thoroughly.
Take the time to fully understand what the client is looking for in a candidate. Don’t make assumptions based on similar roles you ’ ve hired for in the past, each position may have unique requirements or a different desired background.
Winning work exclusively and a high fill rate due to this.
What did you learn from last year that you are going to use to ensure you are successful this year?
The power of client referralsasking your best clients to either write a referral which you can send to prospect clients, or better yet, ask them to introduce you to areas of the business you don't yet work with. I also check out their LinkedIn profile and see who are our mutral connections externally, and if they're are any contacts I want to break into. Make sure you ask for the referral directly after filling a role/doing a good job.
What made you successful in 2024?

Calling rather than emailing! I know it’s easier to email people rather than call them. I used to be that person who always preferred emailing, but I realized that calling gives you control over the situation and gets you answers much faster.
Strong Internal Communication & Employer Branding! Utilizing your team for referrals can get results quickly, and you know the quality of candidates is high when your colleagues can vouch for them. We also have a duty to keep our candidates informed about the roles we’re working on this enhances your reputation!

What did you learn from last year that you are going to use to ensure you are successful this year?
Leverage Your Network! My experience running events and workshops internally showed me the power of strong professional relationships. I can continue building on this to host external events and workshops.
Proactive Talent Sourcing is key! Now that I’ve moved into 360 recruitment, I know that instead of relying on applications, using networking tools like LinkedIn for direct outreach helps find top talent before they even start looking. This not only saves time in sourcing but also allows me to spec in strong candidates proactively
