The GEN2 Variable Pilot Valves push the boundaries in reliable performance for pilot control valves while having drop-in replacement ability.
3-Way | Separate Pilot The GEN2 Variable Pilot Valve with separate pilot allows pilot signal to come in. Available in Normally Open and Normally Closed configurations.
3-Way | Combined Pilot Designed to reduce leakage paths, the Combined Pilot Valve joins the inlet pressure and the pilot pressure into one port, enabling simple installations. Available in Normally Open and Normally Closed configurations.

Variable Pilot Valves obtain varying pressures while accomplishing an easy installation that reduces leaks in abrasive, high pressure environments. 1. Pilot Set Range - This is the set pressure range of adjustments and the specified pilot pressure used to actuate, pressurize or vent a pilot valve, actuator or cylinder, and subsequently resets with low dead band. 2. Normally Open (N.O.) - Logic for the default energized position of the valve, where supply port communicates with function port and “closes” when the valve is piloted, whereas Normally Closed (N.C.) supply is closed to function and “opens” when the valve is piloted. 3. Combined Pilot - The combined pilot valve joins the inlet pressure and the pilot pressure into one port, enabling a simple installation and reduces leaks. 4. Separate Pilot - The separate pilot valve pilot pressure is independent from the supply pressure, this allows the signal to come in from a separate source and allows for different pressures to be obtained in supply and pilot. 5. Shear Seal - Metal-bonded Tungsten Nickel composite seal that is resilient to high pressures and abrasive environments by creating metal to metal seal durability, allowing it to excel in high pressure environments. 6. Pilot Reset - The reset pressure is when the valve returns to the unenergized position, also known as dead band. 7. Dead Band - The difference in pressure between the set point and the reset point, essentially it is the force required to overcome the internal friction of the valve.
