Productos de la tierra Si quieres probar las mejores hierbas ibicencas de la isla, no dudes en visitar el pequeño local de Tony Ribas. Es un bar y tienda de comestibles famosos por la elaboración de su exquisito licor. Puedes probarlo allí, tomándotelo al sol o puedes comprar una botella por 9 euros. Otro de los lugares de San Carlos que merece la pena visitar es el supermercado restaurante rural de Tony Mariano. Está junto a la playa de Aguas Blancas. Abre sus puertas de lunes a domingo y podrás degustar un plato casero en medio de la campiña ibicenca. Los domingos hacen paella y para asegurarte de que tendrás sitio, es conveniente reservar.

Por último, y no menos importante, te recomendamos el restaurante Anita, justo al lado de la iglesia de San Carlos. Es un restaurante sin demasiadas pretensiones pero preparan la comida con un cariño especial y eso se nota. Pescado, carnes, arroces…todo materias primas tan mediterráneas como la isla.

You can try it there and then and sip it under the sun or you can buy a bottle for 9 euros. Another of the places worth visiting in San Carlos is Tony Mariano’s rural restaurant supermarket. It’s by Aguas Blancas beach and it’s open from Monday to Sunday. You can enjoy a home-style dish in the middle of the Ibiza countryside or go on a Sunday, when they make paella. Make sure you book beforehand.

Last, but not least, we recommend Anita, the restaurant right next to San Carlos church. It’s a very simple restaurant but they put a lot of love in their cooking and it shows. Fish, meat, rice… ingredients as Mediterranean as the island itself.
