Knowing what you know now, what would you say to yourself when you first got married?

Understanding is very important. I should have been more understanding.
What’s your most and least favourite part of being a pastor’s wife?
Well, I don’t have a least favourite part neither do I have a most favourite part. I just consider being a Pastor’s wife as a Ministry and it is a huge privilege and honour to be Pastor Jerry Eze’s wife (smiles).
What would you say is the major role of a pastor’s wife?
To give her husband (the Pastor) 101% support and honour him.
It’s February so we just have to ask, what is the most romantic thing Pastor has ever done for you?
Hahhhhhaaaa, Pastor is not romantic oooo. I am still thinking ooo… No wait a minute, my birthday which was in February, wishing me a happy birthday and saying the things he said to me in the view of the world (on NSPPD) was so surreal. I would have crossed seven seas for him that day (laughing).
How can women in challenging marriages still pray for their husbands?
Yes, they can and should. If my husband didn’t give up me, I encourage them not to give up on their spouse. Their marriage is their assignment. What God cannot do does not exist.
PARENTING AND FAMILY LIFE
It is often said that pastor’s children are either perfect or tyrants. What advice will you give to young pastor’s wives in raising their children right?
Start early. Start teaching them about God very early. Expose them to the supernatural early. Make them memorize bible verses from a tender age. Teach them hoe to fast even as early as two years old. They could fast for two hours, instead of having breakfast by 7am, they will have it by 9am. As they grow up, their fast hours should be increased. Keep praying and fasting for them. Don’t stop.
Pray they experience/encounter God for themselves and not just be aware of God because of what you have taught them. Depend on God for guidance and direction in raising your children. Always remember that the devil does not like you and if he can’t get to you or your husband, he will come for your seed. Most importantly, soak their lives/destiny with your prayers that even if they want to go astray, your prayers won’t allow them stray.
How can we, in practical terms, show our family that they are important to us despite the demands of the ministry?
By making out time for them and ensuring that during their special occasions or whatever they consider as special we are physically present.
MINISTRY LIFE
Who are your spiritual influences?
My husband Pastor Jerry Eze tops the list and many others.
We are curious, how much do you pray each day?
Always. The bible says in Ephesians 6:18 (NLT), “Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion”. I just spend my day talking to my Father. I pray when I am driving, bathing, cooking, doing chores, when I am alone etc. all the time.
What are the main ministries you are involved in right now?
Streams of Joy International, New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations and Women on Fire Network.
What would you be doing if you were not a pastor?
I would have been serving God passionately in my local church and would have built a successful and amazing career in Human Resource Management. gw
