“The logs that I pulled aside are from high up on the mountain, where they were beaten by strong winds from the time they were quite small. That toughens the trees and gives them a fine grain. We save these logs for choice work. They’re too good to be used for ordinary lumber.”

Only logs that had been beaten were now considered too good to be put to ordinary use.

When we look through scripture, we see all the various tests and hardships that our bible heroes had to face. Before Joseph could get to the palace he went through the pit and the prison. Before Esther became a queen she was an orphan and a slave in a foreign land. Before David became a king, he was ostracized by his family, pursued by Saul, and lived as an exile for many years before being crowned king. Refuse to be moved by that which you see as a challenge today. Joseph understood this and declared to his brothers, “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” — Genesis 50:20 NKJV

One of the most potentially difficult aspects of being a Christian is knowing that when you surrender to Jesus, the enemy comes against you intending evil upon your life. And, yet no matter what comes, God is the Master Weaver. He takes what was meant for evil and reweaves it for good. God has not forgotten you. He is only preparing you for greater things. gw

NSPPD Testimony

I’m here with my own testimony cos what God cannot do does not exist....

I was diagnosed of Ovarian Cyst, Sub-acute appendicitis and Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (chronic PID) on January and since then I’ve been having this constant bleeding and abdominal pains and cramps that I could barely walk well, I kept on praying,crying to God every now and then believing God for a miracle. Then on the 15th of March a friend just walked up to me and asked if I’ve heard of NSPPD and I said yes (what happened with a wired look on my face) then she told me to join their 7am prayer the next day meanwhile this friend doesn’t know what I’ve been passing through oo..... Fast forward to the next day being the 16th of March I even forgot about the prayer section until 7:42am when I remembered then I cued in, immediately Pastor Jerry mentioned my case and i felt this very sharp pain on my lower right abdomen, I was just screaming Amen! Amen! Amen! with tears rolling down my cheeks in pains,I claimed my healing instantly,meanwhile I bleeded all through the previous night and even that morning before I joined the prayer ooo,only for the prayers and testimonies to be over and I went to the bathroom to check on myself lo and behold there was no bleeding again ooooooh, (Pastor Jerry it was a now now healing oooo) So I decided to go for another scan on the 22nd of March just for the doctor to confirm that the pelvic inflammatory disease, Ovarian Cyst and Sub-acute appendicitis cannot be found not even little particles are left in my system, immediately I screamed ‘What God cannot do does not exist’ then the doctor turned and echoed (ahhh So you’re among us?) and I replied with excitement, Yes oo Doc ‘I’m a proud Member I give all the glory to God almighty, God is indeed too faithful to fail, Thank you Pastor Jerry, Pastor Eno and Pastor Uguru for all you do for the people of God.
