Facial Oils

There’s only one way to really benefit from facial oil.
The benefits of using facial oil is enormous but if used wrongly you do your skin more harm than good. Save oil for the final step of your skin-care routine. If you apply oil first, any moisturizer that follows won’t be able to fully penetrate the barrier you have created with the oil; it’s like sitting in a car when it’s raining and expect to get wet.

Remember, oils are only the gatekeepers, not producers of hydration, so load up on humectants (lotions) first, and then pile on the oil afterward to keep moisture from escaping. gw
4 Questions To Ask Yourself When Surfing On Social Media

This isn’t an exhaustive list, but perhaps these diagnostic questions can help us as Christians to think wiser about reading and reacting to the news we read on social media.
1Am I qualified to comment on this issue? Commenting on every post isn’t necessary especially as Christians. Don’t feel compelled to do so. Sometimes it’s okay to read news and refrain from posting our opinions.
2Are you guilty of “Confirmation bias”. “Confirmation bias” is the tendency to believe the stories that tell the best news about “your person” or your tribe and the worst news about the others and their tribes. We should be willing to acknowledge the fallibility of our people or party and willing to acknowledge the goodness of others in another party or movement.
3Do I have the whole story? This is a question we need to ask before forming opinions. These days, we are so used to skimming and not bother about the actual details. But if we are indeed people who care about truth, we can’t form opinions without getting all of the facts.
4Can I say something constructive
that will provoke a healthy
conversation? Assuming we have a good understanding of a news story, a question we should still ask ourselves is if we are capable of adding to healthy public discourse.

It’s amazing how people rant and go on a tweeting rage, some excuse it as being “prophetic” while in reality they are only reacting angrily.
God does care about our actions on social media. So when next you are about to express yourself, check your spirit and ask whether God will be pleased with what you are about to do. gw
