OVER A 100 YEARS

HEISTERKAMP, FAMILY BUSINESS SINCE 1919 It all began in 1919 with one horse and a single wagon.

Sixteen-year-old Antoon Heisterkamp transported barrels of beer and was regularly asked to take other people’s goods there and back on his route. And thus, the seeds of our current Heisterkamp Transportation Solutions were sown.

We offer non-stop trucking across Europe from our strategic locations in Oldenzaal (NL), Travemünde (D), Hamm (D), Ghent (B), Stettin (P), Riga (Let) and Cluj (Ro). If necessary, our drivers alternate with each other. This “relay approach” enables us to achieve the fastest time and the best price.

We offer a choice of more than 750 trucks, with or without a driver or a semi-trailer. Our fleet of around 4,000 trailers enables us to offer you customized transport for every conceivable load. Our trucks are equipped with the most modern GPS / GPRS communications and track & trace equipment.

So you are always kept up to date in real time on their status and our certified drivers are constantly accessible. All you need to do is log in to our system.

HIGH TECH TRUCKING ON THE DIGITAL HIGHWAY Trailer Trucking, One Way Trucking, Non-Stop Trucking... “High Tech Trucking” would not be out of place in this list. Customer demands are becoming more and more complex and the need for real time information is growing enormously.

Our digital highway has become increasingly important; ICT is therefore crucial.

ICT is indispensable for efficient planning, smooth logistics and optimum service. All our trucks are equipped with state-of-the-art on-board computers.

With the help of track & trace, our customer portal immediately shows the whereabouts of trucks and freight.

But... there’s more. With your input, our ICT team develops solutions that help to improve your business. At the “push of a button” you can see which trucks require maintenance, or you can discover the capacity utilisation of your trailer fleet. If you intend to temporarily expand your fleet with a few Heisterkamp trucks and trailers, it is just a matter of linking the systems and generating the required data.

ICT also leads the way in our workshop. Our engineers can just as easily operate a tablet as use a screwdriver. The technical data for all trucks can be read 24/7; spare parts are always in stock on the basis of just in time delivery.
