Lorraine “Low” Tobias Douglas entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. She was born May 8, 1954, to the late Julia M. Tobias and Thompson in Washington, D.C. She attended school in Newport News and was a graduate of Huntington High School Class of 1972. She was employed by Newport News Shipyard in the Surface Preparation and Treatment Department, where she retired after 35 years of service. She was a faithful member of Gethsemane Baptist Church, where she served in the Greeters Ministry and attended worship regularly.
