Group Data Assistant

How long have you been with Holdcroft?

I have been with Holdcroft for just over 10 years now, starting off as a Service advisor, before moving to Sales admin where I spent most of my years, and now most recently as part of the Data compliance/ Marketing team.

What is your favourite memory from working at Holdcroft?

There have been many memories for me over the years but some of my favourites have definitely been since getting involved in the various events within Head Office, particularly “Dress like a Popstar.” It was great to see everyone who took part, and I loved myself and Sue transforming into Axl and Slash for a day! I also had great fun getting involved with the “Merry Christmas from Holdcroft” video.

What is your favourite car and why?

My favourite car has to be a MINI, it was the first car I really loved to drive and I couldn’t wait to get another.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I am a mum to my 7-year-old daughter, who keeps me super busy, so in my spare time I love to be with her and my husband, watching her enjoy her various hobbies including dancing and swimming. We also love spending time in our garage pub, and getting away for breaks whenever we can.

Tell us an interesting fact about you!

Before having my daughter, I used to sing in the local (and sometimes not so local) Pubs and Clubs. I love to sing and I miss the job a lot, but Karaoke at home with the family is a fun alternative!

How long have you been with Holdcroft?

I started working at Holdcroft Head Office in September 2022 having worked in the motor trade for several years, mainly in Aftersales and Warranty roles.

What is your favourite memory from working at Holdcroft?

My favourite memory is probably the day we dressed up for the charity event, Cash for Kids. I have to admit it’s the first time I’ve gone to work dressed as Slash!

What is your favourite car and why?

My favourite car? I am not sure I have one really, but my favourite bike would be a Triumph Daytona, or Ducati Monster!

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love gardening and my steep woodland garden helps to keep me fit! I also enjoy making wall art, and creating designs to go on t-shirts, prints, and mugs. I dabble with photography, and occasionally make jewellery.

Tell us an interesting fact about you!

I’m a Flesh Handler! Or to put it differently, I’m a Remedial Massage Therapist, and despite not being keen on feet I’m also a Reflexologist.

Our GWM ORA launch took place on the 21st July in Crewe and Stoke-on-Trent.

Employee News

Jacqui Buxton, driver at Volvo took part in the Charity Walk for the Alzheimer charity.

The walk took place on the 16 th September at Hatton Park and she has raised over £400 for the charity!

Andy and Victoria Hooper completed a skydive on the 28th August!

We both enjoyed the day immensely and I would definitely do another. It was a cloudy day so going through the clouds was extremely cold and wet - especially at 143 mph which apparently was my speed during freefall..... it felt faster! Overall a great experience I would love to do many times again.

Steve Shaw, Andy Shaw, Dave Ledger, and Kieran Breeze from our Hyundai team took part in the Pie and Pint 10 km walk to raise money for the East Cheshire Hospice

Adam Welch and Simon Peacock are challenging themselves to take a ‘banger’ on a road trip, over hundreds of miles around the coast of Ireland, whilst raising money for the Ben charity. On the 7th October they will get the ferry from Holyhead to Dublin, before heading South and following the coast of Ireland for 3 days, hoping their trusty 2005 Volvo XC90 will take them back to Dublin.

Holdcroft partners have kindly sponsored us for this challenge, with the money going towards our ‘banger’ which will be auctioned off at the end of the rally.

All proceeds raised from the auction will be donated to the Ben charity who help workers, and their families, within the automotive industry.

Renault Sales Executive Renault Wolverhampton

Monday to Friday full-time including weekends on a rota basis.

Conduct thorough vehicle demonstrations and test drives, highlighting the unique features and benefits of each model.

Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly targets and maximise sales opportunities.

Hyundai Vehicle Technician Macclesfield Hyundai

Permanent - 40 hours per week.

Ensure customer satisfaction in the service and repair of motor vehicles of all types. Carry out servicing and repairs in a safe and economical manner.

Honda/MG Service Advisor

Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 5.30 pm and Saturdays on a rota basis.

Ensure that you maximise all service sales opportunities by using professional selling techniques.

Record customer requirements and details accurately on our bespoke Company system.
