#GatesheadHealth Weekly Newsletter – 19 February 2024
Help us to show it’s not OK We want everyone who works at or visits Gateshead Health to be safe from abuse and discrimination of any kind. Internally we're working on policies and processes to support all staff at any level to take action if they experience or witness abuse. We also need to tell our patients and visitors that we won't tolerate any abuse and we need you to help us spread the message.
We also need people who are willing to share their stories about discrimination they have experienced. This can be anything from abuse to the harder to define words or actions. For example someone not believing you are English because of the colour of your skin, or someone not believing you can do your job because of a disability.
We're looking for volunteers from our staff to be featured on posters saying that abuse is not ok. For this you'd need to be available for 20/30 minutes for photos.
