Welcome to summer at Garden of the Gods Resort and Club! We are very much looking forward to another fun-filled summer and this year, our summer will be jam-packed with fun activities for young and old. The team at Garden of the Gods Resort and Club is delighted to bring back some of your favorite events and summer activities and some exciting new additions to bring you and your families even more summer fun!

We are pleased to share our partnership with the Garden of the Gods Park Visitor’s Center this season, where you can sign up for any of their offerings, directly through our resort and membership concierge. I encourage you to learn more on page 8 of this brochure.

From our traditional events such as the Memorial Days festivities, our 4th of July Weekend, and Music Under the Stars, we are also dedicated to bringing you weekly free activities that are fun for the whole family. These will be available every week from Memorial Day to Labor Day. I would like to highlight the Wind-Down Wednesday’s, weekly at the Recreation Pool from 5PM – 8PM, with games and specials from our culinary team.

This year, our summer camps bring a variety of activities and we are pleased to introduce three new camps, Mission to Mars Camp, Colorado Springs Adventure Camp, and an offering through Pikes Peak Athletics, Swimming Camp. Swimming lessons are returning and will be available at the Recreation Pool.

SCAVENGER HUNT

Check in with the Resort Concierge to sign up and discover the property like never before with our new Scavenger Hunt! You will be looking for clues and treasure during your discovery of Garden of the Gods Resort and Club property, executing fun activities, and learning about the many features of the resort along the way! There are a total of 9 different stops and it takes about 30-45 minutes to complete.

Wind-down with us every Wednesday this summer from 5:00PM-8:00PM at our Recreation Pool! Offering a Food and Beverage lineup, as well as special activities such as slip-n-slide, karaoke, diving competitions for both young and old, and much more! This is a great opportunity to hang out at the Rec Pool with family and friends.

GARDEN OF THE GODS VISITOR’S CENTER PARTNERSHIP

COMPLIMENTARY GUIDED NATURE WALK

DAILY | 10:15AM-11:45AM

Leaving promptly at 10:15AM, our driver will take all participants from the resort to the visitor’s center to join the daily guided nature walk. This nature walk follow the mostly paved Gateway Trail to the paved Central Garden Trail. Participants are encouraged to continue to survey the garden or may return to the visitor’s center with the guide where the shuttle will bring you back to the resort.

RATTLESNAKES EXPERIENCE

Join park docent and rattlesnake enthusiast, Jane Gasko, to learn about the most misunderstood reptile in the American west. Make your way to the GOG Visitor’s Center to participate.

Cancellation policy: Kids Club Day Camp Attendees will be charged 100% of applicable fees if cancellation of registration is less than 48 hours.

CANCELLATION POLICY Camp attendees will be charged 100% of all applicable fees if cancellation of registration is less than two weeks [14 full days] prior to the first day of camp.

LITTLE CHEF CAMP

Come discover your inner chef and put your ingenuity to the test during our Cooking Camp! Each child will receive and decorate their own chef’s hat and apron to use throughout the week while cooking and baking with our very own chefs!

Your kiddos will have the opportunity to practice skills in the kitchen that are essential, such as knife skills, kitchen etiquette, baking, cooking, and decorating!

We all have an inner scientist, but if your kiddo is especially interested in explosions, chemical reactions, catapults, space exploration, or anything in between, this is the camp for them! Save your Junior Scientists a spot today for Garden of the Gods Young Scientist Camp!

We will be joined by Cool Science to do some hands-on learning about dry ice and the state of matter, electricity and magnetism, light and telescopes, and liquid nitrogen reactions!

CREATIVITY CAMP

Learn to express your creativity like never before! Watercolor, oil pastels, paper mâché, and more! Throughout the week, we’ll visit the Garden of the Gods Nature Center for hiking and experiencing the creativity that exists in nature while documenting what we see to create a piece inspired by our observations. We’ll also translate nature into art by painting the rocks how we see them. This camp will take place outside, so bring water, sunscreen, and get ready to create!

Adventure around Colorado Springs with us! We will be going to many educational and fun destinations throughout the week including The Cave of the Winds and The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo! We will also be gold panning, going to an indoor zipline, playing mini golf, and completing a Ninja Warrior course! This camp is for kiddos who want to explore their city and get that adrenaline pumping. Whether you are a Colorado Springs native or you are visiting us from afar, you will not want to miss this camp!

Tennis and golf in one camp? We love it! Register your junior athlete today and see their growth in each sport! Your junior athlete will spend two days learning and practicing golf, two days focusing on tennis, and the last day submerged in each sport to show off their new skills. Join us for an exciting week learning the skills to play a racquets sport. Our pro staff will put you through many different drills on court, fitness, and fun exciting games incorporating the skills learned through the week. Mountain views, green grass, and wonderful Colorado weather! Join us for our 3-day golf camp to fine tune your junior golfers’ skills! No matter your child’s age or ability, our camp will help your child learn the game and develop their skills in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment. Your junior will receive instruction on all aspects of the game including chipping, pitching, putting, sand play, and full swing. Camps will be fun-filled with drills, games, and rules & etiquette. Everyday is a great day for golf!

PHOTOGRAPHY CAMP

Cultivate a love for photography while learning how to properly use a professional camera! We will learn about composition and creative tips and tricks with the skill level tailored to each age group. Each day will consist of one hour of instruction, one hour practicing photo taking, and one hour to share favorite photos with the class and review concepts. The week will conclude with a ‘show and tell’, during which the favorite photos of the week will be displayed!

This class is taught by Maria Bay, owner of Casa Bay Photography. The adult class will include light refreshments and a sunset experience.

MISSION TO MARS CAMP

3...2...1...Blast off to Mars! During this week of fun, we will be transported to a new world. We will study this red planet, learn what it will take to get us there, and create solutions for how people can live on Mars. Be part of the first crewed “Mission to Mars!” Over the course of the week, we will engage in artistic crafts, games, experiments, coding and robotics, and engineering challenges!
