Browsing through the stands, we also came across some companies in the entertainment sector, and their presence has pleasantly caught our attention. Particularly speaking to the suppliers of entertainment equipment such as slides, playgrounds and trampolines, we wanted to investigate their interest in exhibiting at the fair, thinking about why they felt 'part' of a universe apparently so distant from them. Our conclusions lead us to consider how the whole entertainment sector is changing and to take a closer look at its ever more fluid boundaries. Entertainment is no longer confined to its 'traditional' places, such as amusement parks or arcades. Profitable contamination extends throughout the tourism sector; just think of hotels, spas, camps and resorts, and how they have incorporated slides, inflatables, outdoor games and other equipment into their facilities. The interpenetration between sectors also extends to the fitness world, which revamps itself with entertainment, offering more services to its guests and new training methods, providing for them a more complete, enjoyable and different experience. In this context, we would like to point out that among the exhibitors we even saw some suppliers employing virtual reality systems to make physical training more engaging and fun. Getting back to the event as a whole it's safe to say that, with its showcases and conferences, it didn't fail to provide answers to major current issues such as energy efficiency, safety, water treatments and new training methods, with updates on digital marketing, customer care, trends and regulations. Special events included the Pool Innovation Area, which presented a selection of the most innovative proposals from the pool exhibitors participating at the trade show, and the 8th edition of the Italian Pool Award, the recognition of Italian excellence in the swimming pool sector. The appointment in Bologna is renewed for next year, with the 20th edition of ForumClub and the 11th edition of ForumPiscine, which will return to the bigger version, again in the Bologna exhibition center, from 13 to 15 February. n

Curiosando tra gli stand, ci siamo imbattuti anche in alcune imprese del settore dell’entertainment, e la loro presenza ha piacevolmente catturato la nostra attenzione. Soffermandoci in particolar modo a parlare con i fornitori di attrezzature di intrattenimento come scivoli, gonfiabili, playground e tappeti elastici abbiamo voluto indagare il loro interesse a partecipare a questa fiera, ragionando sul perché si sentissero ‘parte’ di un universo apparentemente distante da loro. Le nostre conclusioni conducono a considerare come sta variando l’intero settore dell’entertainment e ai suoi confini sempre più fluidi. L’intrattenimento risulta essere non più confinato ai suoi luoghi ‘storici’ come parchi divertimento, sale giochi e luna park. Una proficua contaminazione si estende in tutto il settore turistico; basta pensare a hotel, spa, campeggi e resort, e a come abbiano incorporato nelle loro strutture scivoli, gonfiabili, giochi per esterni e altre attrezzature. La compenetrazione tra settori si estende anche al mondo fitness, il quale ispirandosi all’intrattenimento si rinnova, garantisce più servizi ai propri ospiti e nuove modalità di allenamento, fornendo così loro un’esperienza diversa, completa e divertente. In questo ambito, segnaliamo che tra gli espositori, abbiamo visto anche alcuni fornitori di sistemi di realtà virtuale, sfruttati per rendere più coinvolgenti e spassosi gli al-
lenamenti fisici. Tornando alla fiera, con la sua vetrina espositiva e i suoi convegni ha anche fornito risposte a grandi temi di attualità, come l’efficientamento energetico, la sicurezza, i trattamenti per l’acqua e nuove modalità di allenamento, con aggiornamenti su digital marketing, customer care, trend e normative. Tra gli eventi speciali segnaliamo la Pool Innovation Area, con la selezione delle proposte più innovative presenti in fiera nel settore piscine, e l’ottava edizione dell’Italian Pool Award, il riconoscimento all’eccellenza italiana sempre nello stesso comparto. L’appuntamento a Bologna è rinnovato al prossimo anno, con la 20esima edizione di ForumClub e l’11esima edizione di ForumPiscine, che torneranno alla versione classica, sempre nel distretto fieristico di Bologna, dal 13 al 15 febbraio 2019. n
