Este proyecto de dimensiones transnacionales abarca una amplia área geográfica europea, surgiendo como continuación al Loci Iacobi con la pretensión de consolidar el Camino de Santiago como como primer Itinerario Cultural Europeo de alto valor histórico por medio del intercambio de experiencias de investigación, promoción y dinamización turística y cultural de los territorios socios del proyecto (Lee Puy, Junta de Galicia, Namur, Villa Pouca de Aguiar, Municipalidad de Asis, Viajes Viloria y Le Puy Hotels).
Santiago y todos sus servicios turísticos y equipamientos para hacer posible su comercialización como un producto turístico temático coherente y altamente competitivo a nivel europeo. Este proyecto también pretende contribuir de manera notable a una mayor implicación de las Pymes y a la sostenibilidad de las vías del Camino de Santiago mediante el establecimiento de criterios de calidad y selección para todos los socios.
This project of transnational dimensions covers a great European geographic area. It appears as continuation of the Loci Iacobi in order to consolidate the St. James Way as the most important European Cultural itinerary of high historical value, through the experiences exchange, promotion and touristic and cultural dynamization of the territories involved on the project.(Lee Puy, Junta de Galicia, Namur, Villa Pouca de Aguiar, Municipalidad de Asis, Viajes Viloria y Le Puy Hotels).
El Camino de Santiago está reconocido en la actualidad como Itinerario Cultural Europeo por el Instituto Europeo de Itinerarios Culturales y clasificado como Patrimonio Mundial de la Humanidad por la UNESCO así pues, el proyecto Loci Iacobi 2 lo que pretende es desarrollar las diversas rutas que componen los Caminos de Santiago como producto turístico y consolidarlas como Itinerario Cultural Europeo a través de la creación y promoción de nuevos contenidos turísticos mediante la introducción de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y comunicación, destinados a varios segmentos de mercado: peregrinos tradicionales, turismo religioso, cicloturistas y turismo de naturaleza así como diversos segmentos sociales: personas con diferentes discapacidades, jubilados y gente joven. The St. Jams way is recognized nowadays as cultural European itinerary by the European Insititute of Cultural Itineraries and classified as Human Heritage by the UNESCO. The Loci Iacobi 2 project object is to develop the different routes that form the St. James ways as a touristic product and consolidate them through the creation and promotion of new contents and ways of communication reaching to the different publics (traditional pilgrims, religious tourism, cyclists and nature tourism) and the different population segments (handicapped, young and old people).

The activities this project develops are: • Project Management: Include actions related with the direction of the project, monitoring and coordination of the partners activities by the organization of steering committees and the performance of all operational activities in order to ensure the success of the project. • Creation and implementation of a European brand for the St. James Way to provide identity to the different pilgrimage routes on an international context. • Develop and implementation of one electronic platform to the St. James Way as a tool of distribution and commercialization of the routes as a thematic touristic product. • Production and edition of the “Touristic pilgrimage guides”. These are a set of brochures whose aim would be offer information to the tourists decided to do one of the different routes of the St. James way, also available on the web site for their download. • Pilot Project: Touristic package St. James Way for the creation, commercialization and distribution of new touristic products about the pilgrimage routes through the St. James Way as one added value touristic product.

Uno de ellos abarca 6 etapas, con 116 Km, desde Peso de Régoa hasta Verín, donde se podría reenganchar con la Vía de la Plata, ruta jacobea del sur, completando el Camino de Santiago con el Bono Iacobus. Este paquete de la ruta portuguesa interior o central se inicia en Peso de Régoa y pasa por Villa Real, Vilarinho da Samarda, Vila Pouca de Aguiar, Vidago, Chaves hasta llegar a Verín. Los peregrinos tendrán incluidas seis noches de alojamiento, desayunos y cenas, además del traslado de los participantes desde el punto de finalización de cada etapa hasta a la casa rural y viceversa al día siguiente. Our programs on the Portuguese Way include different proposals that offer the possibility of beginning the rout from several places. One of them is formed by 6 stages, with 116 km, from Peso da Regua to Verín where the pilgrim has the possibility to complete the way to Santiago following the southeast way with the Bono Iacobus. This package of the Portuguese route has as crossing pointe Vila Real, Vilarinho de Samarda, Vila Pouca de Aguiar, Vidago and Chaves before reaching Verín. This program includes 6 nights of accommodation, half board (breakfast and dinner) and the transfer from the final point of each stage to the accommodation and vice versa.

La meta final será Santiago de Compostela, en donde tendremos la oportunidad de hacer la última etapa del Camino y visitar las “Vilas Mariñeiras” de Galicia. Día 8 / Day 8: Desayuno en el hotel. Partida para realizar la excursión guiada “Costa da Morte – Villas Marineras”, con paradas en Muros, Fisterra y Muxía. Antes de la llegada a Muros se hará una parada en el mirador de Paxareiras desde donde hay una vista privilegiada de toda la costa. Nuestra siguiente parada será la Cascada de Ezaro, única en Europa en desembocar directamente en el mar, hecho que la convierte en una parada obligatoria por su peculiaridad. La próxima parada en nuestro camino será Finisterre, antiguo fin del mundo, desde donde emplearemos su faro como instrumento para explicar algunas de las aventuras que los barcos sufrían al navegar en su peligrosa costa. El almuerzo será en un restaurante de Finisterre. Por la tarde llegaremos a nuestra última parada, Muxía, conocida como el punto cero de la tragedia del Prestige, visitaremos el santuario de “Virxe da barca”. Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to carry out the visit to the “Costa da Morte – fishing regions”, with the

company of a guide. The trip makes stops in Muros, Fisterra and Muxia. Before getting Muros, we will make an stop in “Paxareiras” a privileged view point to see the whole coast. Our next stop will be “Ezaro” whose waterfall is the only one in Europe that flows directly on the sea, fact that makes this stop obligatory for its particularity. The next stop in our way is in Fisterra, the ancient end of the world, where the lighthouse is employed to explain some of the adventures that suffer the boats that used to pass in front of the dangerous coast. The Lunch will be in a Finisterre restaurant. In the afternoon we will reach our last stop in Muxia, known as the Ground Zero of the Prestige tragedy, there is found the Virxe da barca sanctuary.

Itinerario / Program Día 1 / Day 1: Llegada a Assisi por cuenta del cliente y traslado desde Assisi a Gubbio. A la llegada a Gubbio, cena, juegos, canto y alojamiento. Arrival to Assisi by the customer’s means and transfer to Gubbio. Arrival to Gubbio, dinner, plays, singing and overnight.
Día 2 / Day 2: Desayuno y salida a pie hacia la iglesia de la Vittorina. Inicio de la ruta espiritual “FratelloLupoGubbio”. Subida al monte en teleférico o a pie (en base a los horarios y la disponibilidad). Almuerzo en el prado de la Basílica de San Ubaldo o en caso de mal tiempo dentro de una sala del convento. Por la tarde, visita a la Basílica de San Ubaldo y regreso al alojamiento a pie. Cena y alojamiento. Breakfast and departure by foot towards the Vittorina church. Starting of the spiritual route “FratellolupoGubbio”. Ascent to the mountain by funicular or by foot (depending on the schedule and availability). The Lunch would be on the San UbaldoBasilic’s meadow or if bad weather inside a convent hall. On the afternoon, visit to the Saint UbaldoBasilic and return by foot. Dinner.
In Biscina afternoon snack, dinner and accommodation. Itinerary to do by foot: Gubbio – Vallingegno (4/5 hours). In Vallingegno dinner and accommodation.
Día 5 / Day 5: Tras el desayuno, continuación de la ruta a pie (cada peregrino llevara su almuerzo/picnic durante el camino). Recorrido a realizar a pie: Biscina – Assisi (7 horas). A la llegada a Assisi, desplazamiento hacia la Parroquia de Santa Maria Maggiore y asistencia a misa. Regreso a Gubbio en autobús/minibus, cena y alojamiento. After the breakfast continuation of the route (the lunch would be a picnic that each pilgrim should carry along the walk). Itinerary to do by foot: Biscina – Assisi (7 hours). Arrival to Assisi and transfer towards the Saint Maria Maggiore S. Messa parish, assistance to the mass. Coming back to Gubbio by bus/coach, dinner and accommodation.
Día 6 / Day 6: Desayuno. Fin del programa. Breakfast. End of the program.
Día 3 / Day 3: Desayuno y salida hacia la ruta a realizar (cada peregrino llevara su almuerzo / picnic durante el camino). Recorrido a realizar a pie: Gubbio – Vallingegno (4/5 horas). En Vallingegno: merienda, cena y alojamiento. Breakfast and departure towards the route (the lunch would be a picnic that each pilgrim should carry along the walk). Itinerary to do by foot: Gubbio – Vallingegno (4/5 hours). In Vallingegno dinner and accommodation.
Día 4 / Day 4: Tras el desayuno, continuación de la ruta a pie (cada peregrino llevara su almuerzo/picnic durante el camino). Recorrido a realizar a pie: Vallingegno – Biscina (3 horas). En Biscina: merienda, cena y alojamiento. After the breakfast continuation of the route (the lunch would be a picnic that each pilgrim should carry along the walk).
