Regiment Through Experience
Regiment Through Experience
Regiment through Experience is designed for stroke survivor patients. It revolves around the experience, the community and the materiality for the pateint. By anazlying a curvilinear and vertical grid, the building began to take shape to give the user an experience through the building using rammed earth on the exterior walls, it gave this sense of protection for the patients while having a welcoming feeling on the inside for the patients to interact with each other. Having a STEAM builing on the site helps woth bring the community togeher to help Stroke survivor patient interact.

Expanding Through Compression
year 2021
Architecture 3602
Professor- Chris Taylor
Looking at various maps as well as designing specific maps of the austin area at different scales, the Expanding through compression design came into fruition by looking at specific runnig paths set in austin which lead to looking at the runner at a specific scale and desigining with the intension of the theatre being the heart and as you move the the building. From the entrence of the building till you enter the theatre, you would feel the walls caving in and out as if the theatres is beating. with the design intension being the theatre is the heart and the building is the body, i wanted to capture the views of the river which was not in use anymore as well as what could be a future park behind the building to encapsulate how a runner is always seeing nature from specific points of view.

The Dancing Light
The design of the gymnasium in lubbock texas was designed by abstracting the stair cases in the laban dance centre making use of the golden ratio within it. seeing the tectonics of the building, the project started to take form by placement of the rec center anc the circulation of the precednents two biggest components, the basketball court and the swimming pool. The overall design saw various iterations in materiality but became a beacon of light that dances with translucent material shining through the exterior facade and the fluid shapes of the people working out would cast a shadow which would in tern ast light shadows that would move and act as dancers dancing.

Art School in art district
With the intenstions to revitalise the Art district in Lubbick texas, the task of the project was to design an art school for students to interact and work along side various artist in and around lubbock. Looking at formal, tectonic, and circulation diagrams, this concept was concieved looking at 2 specific precedents and disecting them to one specific entitity and adding them to 5 bars. This project was designed to enforce a connection to the art district as well as becoming an intergral part of the community and bringing art of all styles to lubbock and its community.
