SENSORY ACTIVITY: WATER BEADS, ANIMALS AND ICE!

A large container or a bin with a lid will allow for room to play, and keeping the water beads contained! There are a lot of water beads, be careful to use a container that will match how many water beads you want to use! Place the animals in the ice tray, fill it with water, and freeze! In the meantime, put the water beads into water, fill with cool water. When the ice cubes are ready, drop them into the container with the water beads. Have fun scooping the beads and playing with the animals as they melt out of their ice cube! Super intense tactile input like water beads and ice are perfect to provide the ultimate sensory experience. Intense sensory experiences can calm an overstimulated body or arouse an under stimulated body. Our bodies learn through sensory experiences and the best way to learn is through play and having fun! Let us know how much fun you have together while playing with water beads and ice!
