Contributed by Michael Kormanicki, ACT II Study Leader Act II has joined the rest of the church in a special Lenten study, Praying for Friends and Enemies, by Jane Venard. The 4-week study will be held Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 on the 3rd floor of MFLC. in room 315. The first class began on Wednesday, February 29, from 6:30 to 7:30 and will end on March 21. The class will read and discuss the book Praying for Friends and Enemies by Jane E. Vennard. Jane Vennard will be facilitating a prayer seminar for FUMC on March 11 and 12. The book deals with the questions: What is intercession? What happens when we pray for others? How do I pray for my enemies? This book also gets at the key theological question of whether intercessory prayer is a matter of changing God's will. These questions and others are examined within the context of everyday experiences. All are invited to attend. .
