It’s All About the Experience Africa is the second largest of the Earth’s seven continents, making up about 22 percent of the world’s total land area and complete with Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain in the world; Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World; Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera; Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world; and Cape Town, one of the most beautiful cities in the world with award-winning winelands. Wild, free and ruled entirely by nature, experience Africa where the countryside is green, the skies are spectacularly endless, and the plains and hills are filled with animals. Not only will the game amaze you but the people and culture from each country will charm you. Many have written about Africa and tell their experience with such enthusiasm and love; once you have visited Africa, you will want to return time and time again. With dedication to preserving the land, the majority of the camps and lodges are built with materials of natural base that blend in with the surroundings. National parks limit the amount of vehicles permitted on the land at any one time, therefore not disturbing the natural habitat of the animals and giving you an unobstructed and unobtrusive view of the wildlife and birds.

In today’s fast-paced world, many savvy travelers feel themselves drawn to the outdoors in a new and more meaningful way, seeking positive inspiration in remote and unspoiled places. Let us book your adventure of a lifetime, where you can travel from the Summit to the Sea! Experience Africa . . . The Frontiers Way.

which make up the many facets of Africa. Frontiers has a long history in Africa dating back to our first safari in November of 1971. It was on a trial run for a new flying safari called “Sasafari.” The operators designed a wonderful itinerary utilizing Aero-Commander aircraft which stayed with the party throughout South Africa, Botswana, what was then Rhodesia, and Mozambique. It remained viable until 1976 when winds of political change swept the region. In those short five years, we were honored to be chosen as the safari operator for such special-interest groups as the Board of Directors of the San Diego Zoo; the Board of the Denver Museum of Natural History; the National Wildlife Federation; the American Museum of Natural History; and the National Audubon Society. Thereafter, we focused more on East Africa and coordinated the Africa travel on multiple departures for the Smithsonian Associates and the World Wildlife Fund. Along the way our staff became well experienced, and we were sought out by discerning travelers to develop private itineraries embracing a wide range of interests.

Can’t Say Enough

The entire trip was exceptional and very well coordinated. Each camp was unique and gave us quite varied experiences and the opportunity to see more types of animals. The big five was a big plus. It was terrific! Phinda Getty House was a tremendous experience, in the most luxurious setting with such a professional and skilled chef and guides. Great game viewing! And to see rhinos and cheetah! L.F., Sarasota, FL We have recently returned from an “African Adventure” to Kenya, and being total novices, we left all the arrangements and suggestions to Frontiers — they came up trumps, big time! The organization was down to the last letter, which is very comforting when traveling to a “strange” continent. It was a truly great holiday, and we will be in their debt for a long time. I must say the whole Frontiers set up seems extremely well run, enthusiastic and successful. This recent trip was our third adventure in as many years — Russia, New Zealand and now Africa. D.R., Eversley, Hampshire, UK

Your personal service in planning this very special safari was superb. You understood our needs, provided accurate information and were enthusiastic throughout. I will use you again and recommend you without reservation. L.H., London, UK Top Notch facilities and camps! We are grateful. It was a homerun, no, a “grand slam” for our family! C.H., Birmingham, AL Frontiers did not disappoint — once again! The arrangements were first class. Accommodations and food excellent. The safaris were very exciting and we feel we saw everything we wanted to see. Will definitely go on another safari — soon! R.A., Loughton, Essex, UK All the camps were luxurious accommodations, fabulous game viewing, fun staff and great hospitality. The River Club was the prettiest setting imaginable, delicious food; it was the perfect place to conclude our African trip. Victoria Falls was spectacular. Our trip exceeded our expectations, which were high!

We would love to go back to Africa. It is a mesmerizing place! P.W., Winston-Salem, NC A truly great experience. I felt only after 3 days it had been 2 weeks. So relaxed and so carefully taken care of. I found myself so openly accepted by where I stayed. It took no time to adjust and relax into Africa. I feel I have left a part of my heart there. Need to go back for it! H.F., London, UK Our trip was perfect in everyway, very diversified and interesting. This vacation met all of our expectations, which left us with life long memories! J.H., Sewickley, PA The up close encounter with elephants was unbelievable! Abu Camp was the Ritz Carlton in a tent, yet in the middle of the Okavango Delta -- words really cannot describe it — loved every minute!
