For groups looking for a warm welcome, Torquay, Babbacombe, Cockington, Paignton and Brixham have it all. The English Riviera is a fantastic year-round destination for a group holiday.
It’s never been easier to get to the English Riviera with the opening of the Devon Expressway. Travel time is just over 40 minutes from the end of the M5 with Dartmoor National Park, Plymouth and Exeter all within an hour’s drive.
This new publication showcases all that the English Riviera can offer and has been produced by the English Riviera BID Company to assist Group Organisers and Coach Tour Operators to plan visits to the English Riviera.
The English Riviera has been designated as an UNESCO Global Geopark, has 22 miles of stunning coastline, many Blue Flag Beaches and has been voted one of the UK’s Top Seaside Holiday Destinations.
Each English Riviera town has its own character and offers a great choice of things to do and places to stay. Torquay has an international marina and delightful tree lined seafront. Tranquil Babbacombe has England’s highest clifftop promenade. Cockington is an unmissable thatched village. Paignton is famed for its Victorian pier, sandy beaches and cheerful beach huts. Brixham is a traditional fishing village, with quaint colourful cottages stretching uphill from the harbourside.
In this new English Riviera Group Guide you will find over 35 Group Hotels to suit every budget and who warmly welcome Groups. Please look out for all the different icons to find the facilities available.
Please contact the hotels direct to discuss rates and availability. They all offer single, twin and double rooms. Most are open all year and we have new hotels opening too.
You will also find over 30 local attractions, offering Groups an amazing variety of things to see, do and discover that will ensure your customers are entertained night and day throughout the seasons.
We look forward to welcoming you very soon.
