The grapes are picked at optimal ripeness, minimally handled in the winery where fruit vibrancy is not hidden by non-essential artifact.

LITTLE WINE OLD VINE RED BLEND Short in stature and thick in the trunk – just like the wombat – old vines are rare and therefore coveted in the wine world. These old giants are renowned for producing superb fruit but in smaller quantities. Hence this very special Little Wine – a unique blend of a number of varieties all sourced from old vine vineyards and made in limited amounts.

MCLAREN VALE SHIRAZ MATARO

This classic Clare Valley blend saw a minimal 3 months in oak barrels, showcasing youthful Malbec fruit with its vibrancy and freshness. Malbec is a variety that loves the distinctive soil of the Clare Valley, blended judiciously to ensure an approachable wine. The Shiraz rounds the mid-palate, and cushions the Malbec’s youthful tannins.

Sourced from older vineyards in the Adelaide Hills, the cooler climate and distinctive vineyard soils provide the perfect place for Nebbiolo to thrive. Trademark floral aromas and an earthy intensity are complemented by the variety’s firm tannins and natural acidity ensuring great structure.

A wine to drink now or cellar in the medium to long term.

Sourced from the Willunga foothills of McLaren Vale.

Matured for 4 months in large 500 litre oak barrels, the wine was then blended and bottled.

McLaren Vale Shiraz is always very generous, with plenty of perfumed blue fruit, some licorice and spice with a fleshy mid-palate. Due to this rounded, plump mid-palate, Shiraz blends very well with Mataro which is all about the back of the palate.

BAROSSA VALLEY GRENACHE TEMPRANILLO

BAROSSA VALLEY CABERNET MALBEC

The Grenache is a blend of two vineyards, one from Rowland Flat and the other from Vine Vale. Rowland Flat provides the structure, Vine Vale on sands provides the aromatics.

The Tempranillo is 100% from Light Pass from a 25-year-old Tempranillo Vineyard. As a blend the two varieties work well together, Grenache provides spice and lift, while the Tempranillo adds savoury characters and texture to the palate.

Sourced from the Western Boundary of the Barossa Valley, famous for growing rich and well structured wines. Matured for 4 months in 300 litre hogshead barrels before being blended and bottled. Blending Malbec with this type of Cabernet Sauvignon provides structure and body to the wine. Cabernet provides a lovely spice, cedar and dried herb undertone, while Malbec adds blue fruits and chiselled tannins.

This single vineyard Barossa Valley Shiraz has been joined by a Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon, ensuring the wines are made from the best quality fruit of the vintage – offering the quintessential Little Giant experience – rich fruited reds that are bright and fresh, sourced from single sites exuding a sense of place.

NON-VINTAGE FINE AGED TAWNY Sturdy, trusted and reliable, the Tawny delivers on the Little Giant promise.

Being true to Little Giant wines, it looks part of the family but comes with a cork with wax seal closure. The Little Giant Tawny appeals to a new generation of fortified drinkers as easily as it does to the old guard.

The inaugural NV Tawny, displays everything we love about this style – offering warmth, comfort as well as freshness and flavour.
