The middle school years hold immense significance in shaping your child’s growth as they uncover God given gifts and talents, explore diverse interests, and develop independence and responsibility. During the first year of middle school, our 6th graders follow a traditional 7-period per day schedule with locker time in between. Honors level math and English selections are available. They rotate through a wheel for enrichment and electives.

6th grade is offered at both Plant Street and Lakeside campuses. Beginning with the 25-26 school year, 6th grade will move to the Tilden Campus.
As the middle school journey continues for 7th and 8th grades at the Tilden Campus, the focus continues on increasing independence and responsibility with additional options for electives and clubs so students can explore their interests and the gifts and talents God has blessed them with.
Our curriculum encompasses not only the core academic areas but also a wide array of electives in fine arts and STEM including robotics, art, ceramics, steel drums and more, taught by experienced and certified faculty members who embrace and embody Christian values.
Every class at FA is taught from a Biblical world-view, ensuring that your child’s education is grounded in Bible based principles. An honor’s track is available in the core subjects, including some high school level courses. Clubs, theatre productions and athletics are offered after school.

Academic Options — We offer AP courses, dual-credit (early college) opportunities, a College Prep diploma, Honors diploma, and Honors with Distinction diploma so that each student may tailor their education to their future goals.
As your teen moves from freshman year to senior year, he or she will be counseled to explore different career fields, identify college goals and options, and create an academic plan with the rigor to meet these goals.
Robotics, Ceramics, Broadcast Journalism, Environmental Club, Christians in Service, Yearbook, Thespians and Choir are just a few of the opportunities our students have to explore new hobbies, interests, and future career fields.
