We are a collective community of employee owners who produce award-winning architecture and exceptional places where people live. It has been our privilege to be collaborating since 1986. And while design trends have come, gone, and some have surged again, one thing has remained: our commitment to design and create exceptional places where people live. Why do we do what we do? Because we deeply believe in the values highlighted above. It’s the heartbeat behind our community. It’s what allows us to truly call ourselves FORUM.

Sharing the client’s vision, our interior design team set out to design the amenities with an upscale, high-end residential look: simple but impactful, using textural neutrals and muted colors. The word narcoossee is derived from the Creek Indian word nokose, which means bear. The designers added this to the art package to give a subtle nod to the property’s name.

IIDA AWARD BEST AMENITY
SPACE
Our client wanted to position this project as the “ultimate” in luxury and exclusivity in the very competitive Naples, FL market. They wanted all of the most sought-after amenities included in the program, which required a lot of amenity space, along with some carefully planned outdoor spaces. Design features such as wood slat walls, storefront, and metal partitions were used to separate the space into functions without compartmentalizing the large spaces and making this feel less than large and luxurious.

This area is fast becoming one of the hottest neighborhoods with direct train access to NYC. The Interior Design team was tasked with creating amenity spaces that captured the Industrial and vintage feel of the surrounding neighborhood, while keeping it modern for residents. A sense of community was important and the design needed to be welcoming, functional for today’s busy residents, and provide ample social spaces for groups to gather. Warm wood tones, vintage brick, large format concrete tile floors and open concept ceilings with Industrial light fixtures set the tone in the space, along with the carefully curated artwork package that speaks to the eclecticism of the community.

BRIXLEY //
Brixley apartments is a sophisticated modern jewel located in Bradenton Florida, evoking luxurious living with its spacious amenities and 240 units. The clubhouse is comprised of an open floor plan spanning 10,000 square feet with vast ceilings ranging from 18 to 27 feet high at the peak main entrance. To counteract the audible impact of hard surfaces, special attention was given to acoustics through implementation of sound absorbing paneling banding the foyer walls, and the central dropped cove lit ceiling detail. Also contributing to positive acoustics is the design of custom upholstered furniture, tall draperies, and inset carpet to soften the space.
