GYMNASTICS EQUESTRIAN VAULTING GYMNASTICS

COMPETITIVE TEAMS

Equestrian Vaulting is a sport for a wide range of ages that combines gymnastics and dance on the back of a moving horse, controlled in a circle from the ground on a long line by a lunger. Vaulting is done on soft footing and practiced first on a stationary barrel before moving on to the horse. The sport teaches harmony with the horse and promotes overall fitness, balance, coordination and team work.

Y’s Guys compete USAG routines at USAG meets throughout Ohio and Michigan. Practice year round. USAG levels 4 -10. Boys Training Team Coach placement ONLY. Boys work with team coaches on skill progressions leading to competitive levels. Call Jai Charles at 419-874-1815 or email toledo.ysguys@gmail.com for more information.

As one of the safest and most affordable equestrian sports, vaulting can be competitive or recreational, individual or team. No previous gymnastics, dance or horse experience necessary. Follow Ridge Run Vaulters, the only American Vaulting Association Member Club in NW Ohio, on Instagram @rrvaulters or register for a class with the horse: ridgerunperrysburg.com. Come experience why Ridge Run was voted 2018 Runner-Up Toledo Parent Family Favorite Enrichment Activity: Horseback Lessons.
