Amazing TOTS introduces and guides athletes through structured physical activities and motor experiences designed to develop six motor skills- BALANCING, RUNNING, THROWING, CATCHING, KICKING, JUMPING. Each class builds motor skills using one of five sports: BASKETBALL, SOCCER, FOOTBALL, VOLLEYBALL, TRACK & FIELD Amazing TOTS classes are fun, imaginative and interactive. Our weekly curriculum includes fitness and sport discovery, nutrition, learning, social skills, color and shape recognition, song, basic counting, rich new terminology, muscle identification and FUN… all in one! Parents must be present and engaged with their toddler throughout the class.
Amazing Athletes empowers children using the fundamentals of 10 sports: Basketball | Football | Soccer | Volleyball | Tennis | Hockey | Golf | Lacrosse | Baseball | Track and Field. During our 30-35 minute weekly classes, children learn the importance of patience, teamwork, and self-confidence in a non-competitive, learning-based environment that fosters a love of healthy living. We teach our athletes about 10 major muscle groups, and how to power their bodies with power foods and good nutrition. Their excitement for structured physical activity promotes advancements and advantages that keep children on the path to personal well-being.
Developed by experts in Kinesiology and sports instruction, Little Champs promotes balance, strength, coordination, left/right skills and gross motor skills while building self-confidence and a team attitude. Children will also be introduced to general skills in t-ball, soccer and more.
The basketball academy is an 8-session program that is designed to teach participants the fundamentals of basketball such as: shooting, dribbling, passing, catching, jumping and running. Participants should wear athletic clothing and footwear (no black soled shoes please). Bring a water bottle.

This "pressure-free pressure" concept has proven to develop "game ready" players in a very short period of time. An emphasis will be placed on offensive skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting and scoring. This program includes two sessions per week. An evaluation will be required for all levels from Foundational and up.
Our Tennis 101 program is for players new to tennis or returning to the sport after some time and will focus on basic strokes and fundamentals! Class will teach forehand, backhand, serve and volley, and scoring. Students will continue to build on skills and techniques each session and are encouraged to repeat this class until they feel confident with the fundamental strokes.

Rec league is a great introduction to team tennis with a round-robin format. Players must know rules of tennis, how to score, and how to serve. There will be 3 sets played with modified scoring to prevent long playtime. Participants need to bring a can of unopened hardcourt tennis balls on the first day.

Have fun learning tennis fundamentals! Children will participate in fun games and drills to increase general athleticism and improve gross motor skills. Bring a racquet to class.
Through fun, skill-building games beginners through advanced beginners will learn and develop fundamental tennis strokes. Students are encouraged to repeat this class until they feel confident with the fundamental strokes. Bring a racquet to class.
This class is for Homeschool children who have no tennis experience or need to review basic strokes and fundamentals. Class will teach grips, footwork, forehand, backhand, serve, volley and scoring.
Students will work on painting, drawing, and creating theme based projects during this time. They will get to experiment with different mediums and improve existing skills. Please send campers in old clothing, we will use acrylic paints which permanently stain clothing. Campers will be responsible for bringing a snack and a drink with them for each day.
Be creative with clay! Techniques taught; slab, coil, pinch pots, hand-building, combined forms, extruding and glazing. There is a $10 supply fee due the first day of camp.
This camp is for all levels of wheel. This camp will focus on learning how to form clay on the pottery wheel or to improve current throwing skills. We will also explore various surface decoration techniques including sgraffito and slip transfer. A $10 supply fee is due the first day of camp to the instructor.
In this camp, campers will learn to hand build and glaze their own projects! They will learn about ceramic tools, equipment and how to critique art work. All work made will be brought home on the last day of camp. Campers should bring a lunch with a drink. A snack will be provided each day. Camp will meet in Room 1420 at Lambert High School. Use the Sharon Elementary Entrance and go to the left behind the buses. Entrance up the ramp there. Drop off at 8:20am, pick up no later than 3:40pm. The FCHS Dance Team will teach dance routines to the campers each day to prepare them for joining the team in the future. Students will learn discipline, self-control and how to defend themselves. This is a Korean martial art and is hands-on discipline, making it very physical. Frankie McDonald is a 5th degree black belt. Please bring a snack and water each day.
We are karate and that means we base our camps on leadership skills, respect and discipline. Within the camps all our kids will have fun jumping, running and being creative with their own skills. Haven’t done karate or have no desire to learn karate ? That’s ok, with the base of our camps being life-skills we use the rest of the time to do fun relays for teamwork, obstacle courses for agility and speed, along with learning some fun tricks such as ninja rolls. All these skills help kids excel in school, football, cheer and many other areas of life. The camps are run by the owner Mr. Roman and his assistants from our college group at Browns Bridge Church.
Chess Wizards is a fun way to have kids experience the excitement of chess. Kids will play in mini tournaments, have interactive lessons with chess pros and play cool chess variants like bug house. It is proven that chess enhances cognitive development in children, improves both verbal and mathematical skills, and increases all levels of academic performance! Playing chess stimulates the mind and helps children strengthen skills such as focusing, visualizing goals, abstract thinking, and forming concrete opinions. Instructors (who are called "Wizards") provide all the materials necessary for your child to participate in the class and no additional purchase is required to attend. Students will experience a 5 day camp that will focus on basic culinary arts skills in a hands-on, highly active environment. Students will begin with fresh ingredients and learn how to create delectable meals, snacks and desserts for themselves as well as others. Our focus will be on incorporating various spices, herbs and seasonings that represent international cuisine and dishes. Students will experience basic culinary skills including safety/sanitation, knife skills, flavor profiling, cooking methods, and recipe exposition. Students will participate in 2 to 3 cooking labs a day and will receive recipes, guides and videos to allow them to continue their practice after camp. All campers will receive lunch each day and will receive a camp apron and t-shirt as well. A $30 consumable fee for ingredients is due the first day of camp. An interactive workshop to give teens and young adults the basic skills of managing money. Learn about essential financial skills like budgeting, banking, building credit, and how to stay out of debt. This hands-on experience is designed to set emerging professionals up for future success. Ultimately your teen/young adult will learn the "real cost" of being an adult.
They have the ability and freedom to drive their car, but do they know how to take care of it and what do in case of an emergency? This hands-on, experiential car care workshop will teach the essentials of owning and maintaining a car. Participants will learn essential basics including how to change a tire, check the fluids, replace windshield wipers, and so much more! Suitable for teens and young adults.

Atlanta magician Jeffrey Williams offers for the summer of 2023, a weeklong, wonder-filled MAGIC CAMP. Classes begin with Jeffrey performing for the students. Then, the first amazing trick of the day is performed, and the secret explained. The props are passed out and the kids practice with each other at their tables. The students then come forward on stage and perform for the class. Four or more tricks are learned each day. There will also be games, outdoor fun and "Bella the Magic Bunny" will be present for the kids to pet and enjoy. A special MAGIC SHOW will be held the last day for the parents and family, where campers will show off the amazing skills they have learned during the week.
This camp is for kids 9-13 years old who are interested in video making. No experience or equipment needed! Campers will have the opportunity to work Audio/Video students using our industry-standard equipment to write, create, shoot and edit a short film during the one week camp. Camp will end on Friday with an awards ceremony and a viewing of all the camp's films with popcorn and drinks to celebrate. Campers will receive a certificate of completion and a Film Camp gift. A week long Nerf war extravaganza Camp. Kids will experience an Epic nerf event that many kids around Atlanta have experienced. Dart Wars 2U provides everything from Nerf Blasters, Team Color Jerserys, Eye Protection, Foam Darts, organized themed Games, music, field hiding barriers, Referees, and a mic'd commentator. We will also provide extras such as Color smoke bombs and photo booth to capture memories of the event. Our events are energetic and extremely active. The kids will honestly talk about it for weeks. Our crews will run the entire event. We will have two crews of teenagers and two adults that will keep the kids engaged the entire time. We will play different games organized daily and the favorite game that may occur more then once is Capture the Flag.
The camp is a hands-on experience led by actual veterinary medicine instructors with assistance from current veterinary students, who serve as the camp's counselors. The camp features a variety of interactive experiences allowing participants to explore the world of veterinary medicine. The campers' curiosity will be ignited as they experience animal anatomy, nutrition, behavior and a range of real-life aspects of a career caring for animals. This camp is for those interested in competitive precision shooting. Camp instruction will include the history of competitive marksmanship, safe handling of rifles, safety procedures, the fundamentals of marksmanship, shot process, position adjustment, and what it takes to compete at a high level. Campers will learn the physical, mental and emotional control it takes to be accurate. Campers will be handling and firing Precision Air Rifles and firing .53g 4.5mm lead pellets at Electronic Scoring Target Systems. Lunch will be provided daily, campers are recommended to bring water. There will be an emphasis on fundamentals, drills and position training. The Lambert Longhorns are a six time state champion program, with coaches that have years of experience developing players. The Longhorns have produced many All State players that went on to play Division 1, D2 and D3 college lacrosse. Calling all LEGO lovers, STEM learners, and Master Builders! Bricks4Kidz LEGO camps take our kids on wild adventures through different LEGO themed worlds, including Star Wars, Pokemon and Minecraft. Each week, we bring our students to a different LEGO world where they work together as a team in building head-spinning awesome models, create new and inventive LEGO projects, and solve complex building and engineering challenges. All of the projects, models and builds are part of proprietary Bricks4Kidz curriculum, so it’s a guarantee that these activities will be never-before-seen for all kiddos! Each child takes home their very own LEGO minifigure at the end of camp.
Bricks4Kidz Coding and Video Game Design Club sends kids on a technological adventure, teaching them foundational coding skills in a fun medium of creating their very own video games. They'll learn strategies to enhance their logic and problem-solving skills, as well as help them work toward becoming technological innovators of tomorrow! July 3-7 (Ages 7 -12) Mandalorian Missions using LEGO® Materials: Master The Way of the Mandalorian in this Star Wars inspired LEGO® Engineering experience. Venture through the galaxy in your custom gauntlet fighter to rescue Baby Yoda, build grappling hooks to pull ourselves to safety or rescue an ally from the treacherous Sarlacc Pit. Allow our Play-Well instructor to help get you ready to complete multiple missions all over the galaxy.
Campers will explore Sawnee Mountain Preserve in safe and stimulating setting. These camps will encourage children to invent, explore, and try different things. Through nature awareness games, hands-on field science, nature hikes, guided wandering, nature-inspired art, storytelling and experiments, campers will learn to observe, appreciate and ask questions about the natural world around them.
Campers will able to explore all that we offer here at Sawnee Mountain Preserve! The name says it all for this water lover's camp! Experienced instructors will ensure campers have a safe, fun, and enriching experience as they kayak, Stand-Up Paddleboards, tube, swim, and play on beautiful North Georgia lakes, rivers, and streams. All equipment will be provided.
Campers will explore what it takes to be a mountaineer! Qualified instructors will expose campers to essential rock skills used in mountaineering as well as allowing them to summit one of the many Appalachian mountains located in North Georgia.

The name says it all for this water lover's camp! Experienced instructors will ensure campers have a safe, fun, and enriching experience as they kayak, Stand-Up Paddleboards, tube, swim, and play on beautiful North Georgia lakes, rivers, and streams. All equipment will be provided.
Kickstart Summer Day Camps are 1-Day camps for children ages 6 - 10. Children will participate in a structured schedule of indoor and outdoor activities including games, art, fitness and other fun activities. Campers need to bring a non-perishable sack lunch, 2 snacks, sunscreen and a change of clothes each day. Please pack a swim suit and towel as camp may visit the Splash Pad, weather permitting.
General Camp Information: The summer day camp program is for children ages 6 - 10 (must be 6 by September 1, 2023). Children will participate in a structured schedule of indoor and outdoor activities including games, art, fitness, special guests and other fun theme related activities. Campers need to bring a non-perishable sack lunch, 2 snacks, sunscreen and a change of clothes each day (Old Atlanta campers will also need a swimsuit and towel each day). Extended hours are 7:30-9:00am and 3:00-5:30 pm; $35 per week, per child
This is a fun camp that incorporates field trips and recreational opportunities for teens in a small group setting. Each week will include field trips to varies locations in the Atlanta and North Ga. area. Campers will need to bring a lunch and two snacks each day. Additional parent information and daily schedules will be provided prior to the camp start date.
With different mediums of art, you can create your own masterpiece and learn how to be creative! This workshop teaches your little one arts and crafts in a unique, fun way. Students will get exposed to different mediums of art and craft skills and the techniques to make their art work more creative and chance to get engrossed in what they are learning with fun! Zeal Parikh (The instructor) is an Architect and a Visual Artist who is working as an art educator and serving the community with her creative skills. There is an additional $20 supplies fees due at the first class to be given to the instructor.
Students will improve drawing and painting skills while working on theme based projects as well as specific assignments based on skill level and personal interest. Please wear old clothing or bring an apron, many of the paints we use will permanently stain clothing. Supply fee $10 paid to instructor at the first class.
Have fun exploring everything you can do with clay without the use of a potter's wheel. Hand building classes teach slab, coil, pinch pots, extruded forms, and glazing techniques. All levels welcome. Supply fee of $30 is due to the instructor at the first class.

Swing I/II - Students will have fun learning and practicing the most popular types of Swing Dance. This is an energetic class to get you dancing! Students are encouraged to repeat this class until they feel confident with the fundamentals.

The instructor will teach Country Two Step and Nightclub Two Step in this class. Country Two Step is a popular social dance where partners dance to medium-fast tempo country music in a pattern that progresses around the room. Nightclub Two Step is a practical and versatile social dance where partners dance to slow “Love Song” music. This simple, romantic dance fills a gap where no other ballroom dance fits.

Twinkling Toes Dance - Miss Missy, the heart and soul behind Twinkling Toes Dance is undoubtedly kid approved. Miss Missy has studied dance for over 23 years, including tap, ballet, jazz, hip-hop and more! She looks to create a fun and inviting atmosphere to educate students of all levels, which includes basic concepts of dance. Classical Indian Dance with Bollywood fusion is a uniquely designed workshop where kids will learn to dance with the beats of Bollywood along with special elements of classical Indian dance which includes hand gestures, eye and neck movement and expressions. This is a fun dance workshop to learn a new and totally different dance form from India with bollywood beats by learning lyrics of the songs. Zeal Parikh (The instructor) is trained classical "Bharatnatym" Dancer who is working as an art and dance educator and serving the community with her creative skills.

Meet our instructor, Stephanie Scoggins with the Forsyth Flyers! With extensive experience teaching gymnastics programs and camps, Stephanie and her staff have the knowledge to help your child gain the confidence and skills needed to make the most our of their gymnastic experience. Parents are asked to wait outside the classroom during class unless registered for a parent involved program, and all children must be age appropriate by the first day their program begins. There will be a parent observation day on the last day of each session for classes to showcase what your child has learned! Dress code is tucked in shirt with pants/shorts, unless otherwise noted.
Children will engage in social interaction with others while still under the direct supervision of a parent or caregiver (one per child.) Children will tumble, jump, balance and swing in an open format class while parents are educated in safe activities and body movements. This program is designed to enhance gross/fine motor skills and social skills such as sharing and self-control. Siblings who are not registered for class will not be allowed on the class floor.

Gym/Acro- Children age 7 and up will learn age and skill appropriate tumbling skills and combinations. Cheerleaders as well as acrobats and rhythmic gymnasts will be challenged in this class. Each child's own personal tumbling/acrobatic goals will be explored in a success oriented class. As mastery occurs harder skills are introduced. Gymnastics drills will be used to give the participant better balance, increase endurance and improve overall strength and flexibility. This class is for all skill levels from needing cartwheels to striving for handsprings.

Aikido is a Japanese martial art developed by Morihei Ueshiba as a synthesis of his martial studies, philosophy, and religious beliefs. Aikido is often translated as "the way of unifying with life energy". Aikido is performed by blending with the motion of the attacker and re-directing the force of the attack rather than opposing it head-on.
Isshin-Ryu, a traditional form of Okinawan Karate, emphasizes practical teaching and hands-on instruction to teach self-defense. Students will use natural stances and body posture in order to develop powerful punching and kicking techniques. While using IsshinRyu to increase their self-defense, physical fitness and mental acuity, students will also develop the lifelong benefits of self-discipline and self-confidence in their everyday life. Shinkendo; Come learn the authentic way of samurai swordsmanship, Shinkendo. Shinkendo is a non-competitive martial art inspired by over 1200 years of samurai history and its techniques are taken from the practical methods once used by the samurai. Students will learn the five important aspects of swordsmanship: swinging, drawing, solo forms, sparring and test cutting (outside of class only). While learning Shinkendo and its principles, students will develop their mind and body, learn an important cultural art and increase their self esteem. Isshin-Ryu/Shinkendo Combo; This program is for participants who want to take Isshin-Ryu and Shinkendo classes at a discounted rate.
This is a well-balanced format of traditional and practical self-defense that integrates strikes, blocking strikes, kicks, joint locking, throws, nerve strikes, and pressure point strikes. Participants can choose to participate 1 or 2 times per week. Ages 6 - 12 class options are Mondays 5:45-6:45 pm and Saturdays 9-10 am. Ages 13 - Adult class options are
6:45-8:15 pm and Saturdays 10:00 - 11:30 am. Rank is earned through ongoing evaluation.
This is a comprehensive martial arts program that teaches a variety of styles including Karate, Jujitsu, Aikido, and traditional Korean Taekwondo. Focus is on practical self-defense, discipline and growth of the individual student as well as courtesy, respect, integrity, perseverance and indomitable spirit. Class is taught by Debbie Smith, 5th Degree Black Belt and certified instructor. Rank promotions are earned through ongoing assessment. Additional fees apply for testing and uniforms. All Level class is for white through black belts. Class options are Tuesday and/or Thursday 5:45 - 6:45pm. Families who register more than one child within the same month will receive a discounted price of $170.00 per month (2x option only).
This class will teach traditional Kung Fu, modern Wushu and the 18 traditional martial arts armaments. Class will cover self-defense skills in single person forms, two-person drills and sophisticated fist and armament forms. Classes will improve muscle tone, strength, coordination and agility.
Shorin Ryun Seibukan is an Okinanwan style of Karate. Master Dan Smith and his son Allen are the instructors at Coal Mountain Karate, the mentors of this Central Recreation Dojo. Ben Scott will be the principal instructor. With have over 100 years of Seibukan experience combined to teach.Seibukan is a very athletic style of karate that uses punches and kicks to promote general body health, self-defense, along with mental and physical discipline.
Tai Chi is an exercise system that uses slow, smooth body movements and has both physical and mental benefits. The practice of Tai Chi helps to lower blood pressure, relieve stress, strengthen the immune system, as well as improve muscle tone, flexibility, balance and coordination.
This introductory clinic will teach kids how to confidently ride on 2 wheels in a fun and supportive environment! They are designed to help kids learn the FUNdamentals of riding a bike while guiding parents how to support their young riders. Kids will gain confidence, learn a life-long skill, and have fun! Bikes are available if needed for ages 3-6, ages 7 and up must bring their own without training wheels.
Learning babysitting skills is not just about changing diapers! In Babysitter Boot Camp® participants learn the business of being a good babysitter through safety skills, etiquette, marketing, choosing age appropriate games, fun activities, and knowing what parents are looking for when they hire a babysitter. Participants earn Babysitter Certification, Two Year American Heart Association CPR and AED Certification and First Aid Certification. This is a great camp for older siblings, camp counselors, neighborhood babysitters, children coming home from school alone, and Girl & Boy Scouts. Bring a lunch. This 4-week program will allow you and your little-one to explore and investigate the natural world together through toddler friendly activities and crafts. Combining sensory and child-led play, lessons offer Sprouts the opportunity to develop fine motor skills, language learning, social skills and cognitive abilities, while giving parents a greater understanding of early childhood development.
Our goal is to help the children feel confident exploring nature, being inquisitive about science, and knowing their role as environmental stewards. To encourage curiosity and creativity, students will go on nature hikes, create crafts and take part in hands-on activities that support their developmental and academic needs as early learners. A parent or guardian must attend any off-site field trips.
Join us for a science enrichment program designed for your homeschooler! Over a 12-week semester, students will look into the different branches of science through the lens of environmental education. With engaging and exciting lessons, students will develop elementary science skills through exploration of our beautiful trail system, direct observation, experiments and hands-on learning activities. A parent or guardian must attend any off-site field trips.

The TR summer day camp program will provide a fun and structured schedule of indoor and outdoor activities including games, arts and crafts, music, sports, special guests and theme related activities. Extended hours are 7:30-9 am and 4 to 5:30 pm and provide your child with staff supervision as they participate in a variety of activities. Campers must be ambulatory or able to transfer into a seat of a standard school bus. Participants should also not be an elopement risk. Staff ratio will be one staff for every two campers. Campers will need to bring a non-perishable sack lunch, two snacks, water bottle, sunscreen, and a change of clothes each day. In order to best meet each camper’s individual needs, we ask that parents/guardians inform us of any accommodations needed at the time of registration and/or at least 10 days in advance of the camp start date.
This Nature camp is for children and teenagers that love nature. Through fun activities and nature explorations, this camp will encourage campers to find the connection between art and nature. Embarking on daily nature walks they will gather forest materials to create art projects and have opportunity to work together on collaborative creations. Each day will be filled with outdoor explorations, hands-on activities, and time to create art. Participants should bring a lunch, 2 snacks, a water bottle, baseball cap and wear sneakers for the outdoors. Participants must be able to independently follow directions.
The Therapeutic Recreation Program will be offering a series of Summer Music programs to meet the summer needs of children and teenagers.
This Outdoor Adventure Camp is for teenagers and young adults who are interested in challenging themselves with several outdoor adventure activities including, rock climbing, tree climbing, zip lining, hiking and kayaking. Professional instructors will provide campers with a safe, fun and enriching week. Participants should bring a lunch, 2 snacks, a water bottle, baseball cap and wear sneakers for the outdoors. Participants must be able to independently follow directions.
This weekly program is being offered to homeschool students with special needs and their siblings 8 to 20 years old. The program will include classes in music, art and gym, with a lunch break.
Art Classes explore a variety of media and topics! Drawing, painting, and mixed media give each person a chance to express their ideas within a variety of new topics. Wear clothes that can get messy. Program Buddies are welcome.
B.E.S.T. Fit ( Balance, Endurance, Stability, Tone) is a spinoff of a Barre Class. We will replace the Barre with chairs, so that everyone can properly distance themselves from each other. Still using the Barre inspired moves from Ballet, Pilates, Yoga and Strength training the chair will provide the means of balance and stability. Balls and light weights will be used in this class. This class provides a safe and supportive environment where participants ( including parents or siblings ) can perform at their own pace and enjoy their own abilities. There is a seat for everyone at "B.E.S.T. Fit"!

The TR Program's monthly bowling program is held on the third Friday of the month at Stars & Strikes. This program is $15 Pre-Registration ONLY! Cost includes 2 hours of bowling, shoes, pizza, and drinks.
Fun Around Forsyth is a monthly program designed for teenagers and adults and will offer opportunities to participate in special events held in or around Forsyth County. More details regarding meeting locations and/or transportation will be provided after registration. Participants can attend this program with a program buddy or a family member, when tickets are purchased or program fees paid.
Drop your kids and go! This monthly program gives parents the chance to catch up on errands, get a workout in, or have a date night. TR staff will provide a variety of activities including table games, open gym time, and a movie. Pizza will be served for dinner along with some additional snacks and drinks. If pizza does not work, bring a meal and staff will assist. Other age appropriate family and friends are also welcome. Pre-registration and payment is required for all attendees.
