Social season is in full swing at Bella Vida (BV)! Earlier this month, VIPs had a fantastic time at the first social gathering for the “Villas Neighborhood.” In addition, as part of an ongoing effort to enrich lives through knowledge and connection, the BV Thrive Series offers VIPs opportunities to attend engaging seminars, creative classes and practical workshops. The Forefront Living leadership team met in the private dining room at Presbyterian Village North with the board of directors to review the results of their strategic planning session from the previous month. This meeting aimed to chart the organization’s course for the next three years and align all key operational areas. Read more.
Rachel Marquis joined the Forefront Living team as Director of Construction and Special Projects. She is responsible for planning, developing and executing construction projects including adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards and regulatory requirements. Read more.

Kendra Weddle, a Scholar-in-Residence at Northaven United Methodist Church in Dallas, TX, has witnessed the profound impact of Faith Presbyterian Hospice on the lives of those dear to her. Compelled by the compassionate care and serene environment, she felt inspired to share her experiences to highlight the importance of dignified end-of-life care in this essay.
Tiesha Ward is an Admissions Coordinator for the Faith Presbyterian Hospice (FPH) Admissions Office. In her role, she verifies insurance coverage, processes patient authorizations and assists with incoming referrals. Read more.

Patrick Walsh has an impressive family as well as record of service and leadership. He is married to Andy Kaye Walsh, a 2017 EMM honoree who continues to serve the community. During his naval career, Dr. Walsh served as Vice Chief of Naval Operations and Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet. With 77 combat missions, 4,700 flight hours, 19 years of command experience and extensive crisis management expertise, he retired as a 4-star Admiral. Read more.
