Please welcome Dr. Joan Hill, Head of School for Dallas’ Lamplighter School and a leader in experiential learning, to Forefront Living’s Operating Board. Joan is currently in her fifteenth year in her position as Catherine M. Rose Head of School for Lamplighter School in Dallas.
Prior to her career in education, Joan worked in marketing and management, which propelled her to pursue a different field where she could more easily establish authentic connections and create positive change. Read more.

Dana Blair has been a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for 20 years and joined the team at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in June of 2005. In her role, she considers it a privilege to care for people when they need it most. Dana’s work goes beyond daily tasks, as she aims to provide comfort, offer respect and lend a listening ear to those she serves. Earlier this year, The Outlook at Windhaven (OAW) introduced on-site physical therapy open to residents and the public. Many OAW residents, like David Jenkins, are taking full advantage of the convenience and opportunity to rebuild their muscles and increase mobility. Read more. Watch video.

Dian Knight was recently promoted to Administrative Assistant at The Outlook at Windhaven (OAW). She joined the OAW community in June, working as primary server and as a front desk specialist. She is passionate about serving others with kindness and spending quality time getting to know people on a personal level. Residents and teammates of Presbyterian Village North (PVN) joined together on Monday, November 10, for the annual Walk for Memory in honor of Alzheimer’s Awareness. The event, held at the Gazebo Circle loop, brought nearly 30 participants walking side by side in support of those living with Alzheimer’s and in recognition of the families and caregivers who stand beside them Read more

In honor of Veterans Day, Presbyterian Village North (PVN) gathered to celebrate the brave men and women who have selflessly served the United States of America. The ceremony, held in McGowan Auditorium, brought together residents, students and teammates for a heartfelt tribute to our nation’s veterans. Read more.


Halloween at Presbyterian Village North (PVN) was full of laughter, candy and community spirit. Instead of simply handing out treats, about 30 residents and team members spent time on Halloween afternoon giving back by hosting a special celebration for 65 kindergartners from nearby Stults Road Elementary School.
