Steve Friend (Director of Concept Design Kitchens) worked closely with the home owners and builder, to customise joinery for the kitchen, walk-in pantry and alfresco BBQ areas, to suit the client’s needs and the modern style of their home. A huge walk-in pantry, incorporating a benchtop and additional storage units, a fullheight wine rack and the abundance of large drawers (with soft-closing runners that won’t slam), ensures there is no shortage of storage space. 30 mm thick Quantum Quartz was selected for the benchtops, as it is durable yet easy to live with. Benchtop heights, customised to suit the clients, were the final ingredient used to create
joinery that works as well as it looks.
