Hands down the place to stay here is South Fork Lodge, overlooking the river. Their setting and facilities are among the finest in the Rockies with a great restaurant and bar scene in the evening. The majority of the fly fishing is done from drift boats in the early season; wading selected riffles is more common as water levels drop in the fall.
