ew for 2020, Fly Water Travel is excited to offer a portfolio of educational fly fishing packages for anglers of all skill levels. We feel strongly that effective fly fishing schools combine dedicated informational sessions plus guided fishing time, and our hand-picked programs do just that. All schools are hosted by talented professional instructors and guides and are sure to improve your fishing and casting skills so you can get the most out of your time on the water.

Additionally, these schools will cover knot tying, fish netting, rowing skills, jet boat operation, motor maintenance, and advanced river/water reading. While these schools are a great way to improve one’s own fly fishing skills, they provide a huge leg up for all interested in taking their passion to a professional level. Florida Keys Fly Fishing School, Florida The Florida Keys Fly Fishing School is the longest-running and most sought-after saltwater fly fishing school available. Run by angling legend Sandy Moret, these schools teach anglers of all skill levels the most important aspects of targeting tarpon, bonefish, and permit. These schools include two days of classroom coursework, interspersed with personal casting sessions, followed by two days of guided flats fishing. PRO Outfitters Kid’s Camp, Montana The PRO Outfitters Kid’s Camp is designed to be a fun, engaging summer camp for kids 11 to 18. Their goal is to give kids the ability to pick up a fly rod with enthusiasm and to leave them feeling comfortable and capable in any freshwater setting. They work to show kids a great time on and off the water. Camp takes place at the beautiful North Fork Crossing Lodge, which is a deluxe tent camp overlooking the legendary North Fork of the Blackfoot River, made famous by Norman Mclean’s A River Runs Through It and is open to all skill levels.
